I think under normal shop environment temperature in the 20*C range, no extra heat should be used or needed, UV doesn't cure with heat at all, only with the UV light.
You are right UV products do not cure with heat but the heat is needed to evaporate the solvents, speed up the process and reduce the tacky finish. I think I explained that in the posts
Never used UV before, but all your videos really spike, my interest. not wanting to buy cheap and twice is there a light, primer, filler combination, you would recommend? Thank again for all your advice and experience.
Hi all these primers produce a primer/filler finish. Since I made this video I have had several new products come through my workshop and the one that I rate and now use is produced by a uk company called FLP and it’s their Ultimate UV primer. For a great filler/putty I would recommend the Colad UV putty, both the coarse and fine
With the lamps you have use what would you recommend. ? Just ordered the primer and filler you spoke about. Really appreciate your expertise and advice.

Really appreciate your reply. Have the uv lamps improved over the years too.?
@TimGriffin-ez9ez the lamps have become more powerful, last longer and cure larger areas. It’s the consumables that are playing catch up

@TimGriffin-ez9ez what size repairs will you typically be priming and wanting to cure
