In the video the first couple (there were two separate couples) had a baby and grew old, but never taught their daughter how to love, that's why in the chorus he says "i wish someone would have told me if you want love you want love..." then they passed away without teaching her,(4:17 that was the daughter grown up looking at the grave) but she still had a kid of her own, so she learned on her own. That's just how I interpreted this video, im not sure if it's right or not. The audio has been out for a while but he just made the music video
