My 3 favorite NF songs are How Could You Leave Us? Because I almost overdosed on PM pain killers taking 18 a night to get tired and I was standing in front of deaths door. Extremely scary. I almost relapsed a year later but heard that song and decided not to do it because I didn't want my family and loved ones to feel the way he feels about his mom. Outro because he was being honest about being concerned about what would happen if his music no longer was emotional and realizing that we are here for you no matter what. Yes his music is extremely emotional and there is a lot of anger in it, but if you really love and care about someone you want them to overcome those demons and not stay in a dark place forever just so his music will stay dark to please your Inner darkness. And 3rd is Intro 3 because he made the choice to fight back against his fear and bury it. Yes it played a gigantic role in his career, but he chose self love despite expressing the fears he had. He stepped out of his comfort zone and kept getting back up when fear knocked him down.

Take Trip Lee, Tedashii, Derek Minor, Canon, Andy Mineo, Lecrae, KB, Ty Brasel, thi'sl, Wande, wordsplayed, Social Club Misfits, Aha Gazelle, Dee-1, etc. I can guarentee you they have great talent great flows, no topics of supporting sex/drugs/gangs but still talking about real life stuff. A lot of these rappers have come from tough backgrounds but found a way to positively turn it around through rap. They are just overshadowed or not noticed as they are not in the typical hip-hop box. Check them out! :P
