I love the fact that the curtains slide around and tucks into their own storage compartments. I’ve often wondered what you do with those big bulky things when not in use. That’s a great solution.
It's like a Targa Top - no wonder they installed alcantara coverings for the seats. THIRTY SIX FEET, that's what I need to keep in mind while viewing this. 36 feet of clever. Thanks for sharing... BTW, it's Future Me 3/2/20 and you now have OVER 100,000 Subscribers. This is the video I picked as my celebration! Thanks Nick - and thanks to all my "Aquiholic yacht mates".
That's the one. I love the fact it has one good sized heads with a separate shower so no soggy big roll. The toilet flap may get unscrewed and thrown in the Solent but I might be able to live with it. An excellent boat for exploring the UK south coast with it's changeable weather and not to expensive to run with a big single engine. Or maybe the Volvo hybrid setup like Greenline use.
The upper deck and the outside are not my cup of tea in terms of visual design, but in terms of functionality for the size it is A+. Love inside and the roof! Great video
I second that. There is one of these in the same harbor as my boat and I don't like the looks of it. Surely good and functional, not so good looking. I also wonder if there is another access hatch to the engines further back. Otherwise it looks hard to reach the back end of the engines.
I really like how they installed the teak decking throughout the cockpit and the salon/galley. The contrast between the dark alcantara and the bright decking is really nice.
I'm a sailor myself, but really liked the many spiffy but overlooked details on this one: the smart haul out ramp tucked under your feet at 1:07, that the sofa can be converted to a (sun)bed and has 4 corners with space for stretching the legs, or that the boat (incl shower) is designed not to feel cramped for a +190 cm viking. Besides, the boat just won the Best for Family Award at Boot & Fun Berlin 2019.
That's a really practical boat. Big enough to spend time on and compact enough to be easy to handle alone if needed. I think I could be very happy with one of these. Thank you for a very informative tour Nick.
Fantastic boat. Very versital. Love all the features. If I had the money I'd buy it. Add washer/dryer combo under the stairs. And off I go for a week full of fun. Assuming there's a watermaker in there. Thanks Nick. Great tour.
What a cracking boat. Affordableish . Really well appointed with as you said Nick, big boat features including a proper shower stall. Don’t like wet rooms. Also the galley space is amazing. I like the idea of the cabin for myself and two ladies and still having another decent cabin for my wife! 😀. Of course I jest. She’d be at home. Love the quality of this boat. Want one. Great video Nick.
It might be much more affordable, but that full teak foredeck is _not_ a small, cheap boat feature. I wonder how much that option costs. And yes, I'd absolutely spec the teak.
I love this boat! The beach deck at the back is lovely. The whole design definitely has that Scandinavian flair and though (which I love) - nice tour Nick! Thank you
Lovely boat. Could see myself cruising round the Scottish loch's on this..Mind you with the weather up here I think the roof would remain closed most of the time ;-) Thanks again for another great tour.
Nick, thank you for the videos. This is probably by favorite one yet. It's conceivably attainable, yet still everything I still could wish for. Do a video of your next boat.
Some similarities to a NordWest 355 Sedan, spent a couple of nights onboard a friends boat a few weeks ago. In a guest cabin very similar to that one. As I´m also a boat nerd I snooped around, and also asked a lot of questions. That boat had 2 X 260hp Volvo diesels that gave 35 knots flat out with two duoprop drives, with around 26 knots as good cruising speed. It had a shorter saloon, with a cockpit outside glass partition doors on the aft deck. It was very easy to manage, got to drive it also and liked it very much. Propably that Marex is a lot like it out on the water, both have that scandinavian heritage and style. Test a NordWest if you can find one, they are great. The 355 is more common as a flybridge version, would be cool to see a review. Thanks for the vid.
Love this boat, the canopy systems are superb. For where and the type of boating I do I think this would be hard to beat, finding it hard to find something I don't like about. Just the small matter of finding £300k now.
You made this one just for me didn't you? :D That is probably my absolute favorite boat on the "boats-that-I-might-be-able-to-buy-as-a-ten-year-old-second-hand-in-about-ten-to-twenty-years-time-list"! (Yes, planning for retirement already). Keep up the excellent work! I'd absolutely love to se tours of more boats in this price- and size-range, both new and second hand. :)
I really like the layout and features of this one wish they made bigger boats. I saw they make a 375 model that is like 2.1 feet longer at 12.05 meters. But I would really like to see a 60 foot boat made by this company. I love Norwegian boats. Just seems like they make really good use of space I mean that bathroom on this little boat it was great. Nordhavn's are still my favorite but I really like this one.
For UK use I would be tempted to add a calorifier for hot water creation & storage, a spot of heating, and upgrade those leisure batteries to three or four 110Ah units. There’s definitely room for all that in the engine compartment - and it would mean you could spend some serious time on board. Hmmm... upgraded fuel tanks...
Maybe a watermaker too, if it would fit. There's something more nautical about getting-by without a generator. Having one almost feels a bit like cheating, I'm weird like that
I’ve spent months at a time on my narrowboat without a generator - you don’t need one unless you’re running some high powered junk like A/C or a cooker. A twin engined boat with an alternator on each motor could recharge 300-400Ah of batteries very quickly, giving enough juice to run for half a week.
I appreciate they didnt add expensive gadgets just for the hell of it. Takes just a few seconds to manually open the canopy or move curtains around instead of it being electric, and therefore adding expense.
If you looked and it said it would be dry on Friday, rainy on Saturday morning and sunny for the rest of the weekend then you could go away on this boat. Perfect for the UK weather.
Deceiving from the outside as it's only when inside you see just how much room there is, I wasn't expecting that. I do like all the functions that are available too. It's not the slickest looking boat at the marina but I won't say no.
Thank you again for a really interesting video. Although I really liked this boat a couple of things worried me.Firstly the positioning of the sink looks a bit daft. And there seemed to be no covers on the battery terminals?
omg that first bedroom reminds of what ive got to look forward to on san julian in september , that coffin bedroom , not looking forwards to that , hahaha . but on a good note , i quite like the black decore .
Now that is a very nice boat: good looking, oin fact very good looking. easily accomodates 4 (unless you are really good friends :-) and I just like the use of wood and the general laoyout, very nicely done interior as well and to top it off: 36 knots!
I like the fact you are showcasing more affordable boats now! Well done :) Also - Marex is a great brand, one of my uncles had a Marex from the late 90s that would go anywhere, not the most stable boat though, but that might have improved since?
Very nice boat from our neighbours in the west, funny to see you standing on a Finnish made boat, walking over to an Norwegian made boat, with engines from my country Sweden,a Scandinavian combo, with a very nice presenter from UK,you Nick what could go wrong ? :) :) :)
Never heard of this manufacturer in here in the US but this is one very nice boat with smart details. Love the very practical oversized refrigerator. No doubt being Norwegian it should be able to handle some rough weather. Looks like decent room for a genset and air conditioning?
The alcantara makes the aft cabin look like a refurb rather than a new boat in my opinion.. a hard material to keep clean too, surprising it’s on a boat, especially one with an open roof.
I was looking at the large area forward of the engines thinking "hmm that would make a great lazarette" but then spotted the total absence of any covers for the engine accessory drive belts, Yikes! maybe not :)
I have to say I love your channel as it shows the crew quarters and the engine rooms etc. But I have to say I prefer it when you show me the yachts that unless I win the lottery I will never get to see rather than the little ones.
Nice one (again) Nick, However, as I've never owned a boat, I'm left wondering what the other hatches were for on the bathing platform. I guess the small seat on the port side is another small compartment, the small port deck hatch is probably steps access? and the large deck hatch is more storage or maybe access to steering? Finally I didn't notice a generator, so should I assume that power is simply an alternator on the engines, charging the batteries?
Yes I think you're about right. Power would be boat batteries away from dock, plus shore power plug in when in dock. Batteries charged from engine alternators or shore power.
The batteries you can see in the video are two 95Ah leisure batteries. Cooking is gas, so assuming that the fridge & freezer are 12v and the lighting is all LED, that would be good for at least 48 hours. I know that because I have similar batteries with similar electrical systems on my narrowboat. All you would need to worry about is hot water.
@@garethchild the fridges may function on gas as well, and a 12v television would work nicely in the master cabin. I guess you could heat water through the engine's heat exchangers and store it for a night in a stainless cylinder. I wouldn’t run a gas fridge on a boat. 12v fridges use very little power, and mean you’re not swapping bottles as regularly. A calorifier is a standard fit on a narrowboat in the UK, taking heat from the engine to give you hot water and store it - a good one will provide hot water for over 36 hours. Diesel heaters like you describe are also very efficient and easy to retrofit.
" you could sleep 3 people on there if you're really good friends" . Sir i like your thinking.🤙
Actually, I was thinking that about the smaller cabin!
Makes you wonder what he gets up to .... doesn't it ? :)

What a great boat, love the cosy cabins. Warm duvets and blankets with hot coffee/ tea - Super cosy.

Looks to be a very fun multi use boat. The sliding roof is simple and fast to open and close. Another fabulous Nick tour.
I really like how they installed the teak decking throughout the cockpit and the salon/galley. The contrast between the dark alcantara and the bright decking is really nice.

Amazing, another Tardis! Hats of to these boat designers, they squeeze every last inch out of it.
Top dollar review again Nick. Well done.
The manually sliding roof and rear windows are absolutely brilliant!

That's a really practical boat. Big enough to spend time on and compact enough to be easy to handle alone if needed. I think I could be very happy with one of these. Thank you for a very informative tour Nick.
My favourite boat on your channel so far. This size is perfectly manageable alone, and the space is used so cleverly it's unbelievable!
OMG my favourite boat! So much genius in the design! If I put away £1 a day, this is mine in 822 years.
Fantastic boat. Very versital. Love all the features. If I had the money I'd buy it. Add washer/dryer combo under the stairs. And off I go for a week full of fun. Assuming there's a watermaker in there.

What a fantastic boat . It has so much space for a sub 40 footer. Great video.
Aquaholic uploads a vlog, I stop work and watch immediately! Love it!
I like your style! :D
Nick thanks for keeping it real. Enjoy these more than the big ones. 👌🏻
Very nice and a great turn of speed. Boating has come a long way since the 1970's
What a cracking boat. Affordableish . Really well appointed with as you said Nick, big boat features including a proper shower stall. Don’t like wet rooms. Also the galley space is amazing. i guess your wife does not watch this videos that much.. :)
I don’t know how I missed this review before. I believe I’ve just found my retirement home. I absolutely love this boat.
Great video. Back to the old aquaholic detail and passion.
It’s perfect it’s no to big boat its just big enough enough to handle for quick getaways with the kids or freeloading friends..Thank you Nick 🙏🏻
What a great boat. Seem like a lot of space and innovation at that price.
Thoughtfully designed and executed weekender. Can't beat great design, a small seakeeper and I would take it.
Nice little boat, thanks Nick!
Another great reasonably priced yacht. Cool seeing the walkthroughs of things we might realistically be able to forward
Thank you

Another really cool and obtainable boat, thanks Nick
I really like this, great internal layout and speedy. Sleeps 3 eh - avoiding gaze of cat and dog as I type this. Great Video as always Nick, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow I've detailed many boats in my history but this is one of the most unique 36ft boats I've ever seen with a galley on the deck like that.
Nick, thank you for the videos. This is probably by favorite one yet. It's conceivably attainable, yet still everything I still could wish for. Do a video of your next boat.
Best boat show/review channel on UA-cam :)
For the money love this boat great video as usual Nick
a small boat
but very well thought out and very well made
great episode👍🙂👍👍👍
Great boat and practically in a (for your channel) small boat. Love it!

Variety is the spice of life - and AQUAHOLIC!
... did you miss the crew's quarters?
;-))
First glance I though it was remake of a older model Chris Craft. Wonderful boat great use of the space. Great tour 👍
I like these smaller boats a lot more than the huge multimillion pound mega things. They’re so much cleverer, with the limited space.

@@AQUAHOLIC absolutely loved it. :)
Hi Nick. I like the retractable roof, the exit door to deck via the cockpit, 30+ knots is fast. Nice lines teak round deck. Thanks
This has to be one the most clever way to use space. GREAT BOAT for the price!
Much cleverness in this boat.
I like that.

And nothing electric to maintain & replace. And let's face it you don't need electric help on this size of boat.
with one cabin more, perfect little boat!
If you looked and it said it would be dry on Friday, rainy on Saturday morning and sunny for the rest of the weekend then you could go away on this boat. Perfect for the UK weather.
This is my favorite when talking about budget boat its really nice and Simple
Very nice practical Northern European boat.
Exellent video. The Bavaria 40 flybridge brand new €280000 , your video much better deal 😊😊😊
Great vid nick..well designed and good fun
Great boat and affordable, love it.
Thank you for your many fantastic videos!
Please also test/try the nice Norwegian "Viknes 1080 Panorama".
There’s a really nice marex 375 on lough Erne in Fermanagh
Very nice accommodations actually.
Deceiving from the outside as it's only when inside you see just how much room there is, I wasn't expecting that. I do like all the functions that are available too. It's not the slickest looking boat at the marina but I won't say no.
Very nice features for the size of boat, good engines those D4's even better as a pair. Cheers Nick.👍
AMAZING TARDIS effect! What a sweet boat.
Once again far better design than the Princess or Sunseeker equivalent. Better priced too!
Very interesting boat, thanks for the video review! Like it!
Love your video of this , we’re taking delivery of one of these October next year can’t wait such a clever built boat
Hope you enjoy it!
Terrific roof. Ditto the curtains. 👍👍

Thanks for the video. You could also feature the Targa you were standing on in the beginning of this video. 🙂
I do have a Targa video on the channel
@@AQUAHOLIC yes I know. As I recall I have even commented it. But there are never enough Targa videos. 😁
