If I were the police I would be looking into the family to see what they are hiding and why she went on walk about without telling them. Maybe she has contacted the police and explained to them and they agreed not to tell the family backseat they were investigating and now that the father is no longer a concern they have made the announcement that she is safe and doesn’t want to be found. There are so many explanations that most people don’t think about. Critical thinking is important. Not jumping to conclusions when you have no idea what is going on is just ignorant. As for the missing kayak dude you don’t know what his reasons for his actions are. He may have been trying to protect his family. My mother’s first cousin went missing under very suspicious circumstances back in the late 70s with a wife and 3 young children and was finally declared dead. After 4 something years it was found out he had been involved with the Russian mafia and decided he needed to leave to protect his family. He “drowned” in a lake with 4 people trying to save him they all drowned and their bodies were found but his wasn’t. That right off the bat is sus. He died of natural causes in 2016 and left a letter explaining everything. So we don’t know why either one of them made the choices they made.
If she wanted to disconnect is a fine decision ….but not let your family know ….huge red flag …now this already cost her father life …to me is already a crime ….

Because Hannah is over 18, she is 30 then police cannot really disclose her location to her family if Hannah's decision is that they do not contact her or know her private information. I think this is why LAPD cannot just simply disclose her private information including location.
Dude, settle down and let the ladies speak. My God is it frustrating to watch a clip when the journalist asks questions and then rudely speaks over their guests. Ugh....

Whatever was happening in the family, she did wrong, as could have told to the police she is not missing. No need to cross the border
I empathize with this girl, her sister. None of us following this understand or know entirely of the family dynamics of Kobayashis. None of us know what may have been happening with her mind or mindset or situation and the texts were strange as well. Hopefully there are some answers for all that's been going on in their lives and it is told to us by Hannah herself. Would it be possible to assume that Hannah still has her phone on her and maybe following the news? Or would the surveillance not show signs of having a phone? Based on her cell phone usage behavior etc retold to the police by family and Sydni especially maybe one can determine if indeed there maybe something at play here or she might be choosing to avoid this and if so, why. Alternatively maybe US embassy in Mexico can try to covertly try to get help with local authorities in finding her if there are no such privacy laws there that may hinder them from doing so. One thing is certain, it feels very strange to everyone following this as it develops.
@Elena-fe3os yeah. Although we don't exactly know her mental state so it's hard to exactly know what she may or may not be thinking. I hope the PD releases the video of her leaving on her own cross border to Mexico to help understand that it is she might be doing or not.
The last lady this but it resulted in a much more gruesome outcome. She was shot and murdered by her husband. Her two dogs were killed as well. The practicing witch had a ton of witch stuff. Her two sons are getting rid of all of that crap.
Attorney doesn't know that Hannah has never disappeared before? I thought she did this before in Hawaii, they even placed flyers on local stores. Instead of wasting money on an attorney, use it to buy some In & Out Burger.
So if there’s really a footage of her crossing alone and then what? Will the family still not accept the fact that a grown person can choose to leave their family? They should explain more details because they can’t just say they know she’s in danger but can’t disclose it just the word of mouth?
You’re using part of the $46k Go Fund Me donations to pay for an attorney?!! The people who donated funds need to see that their funds have been redirected to another non-profit or family who need help finding their loved one, ones who do NOT have video footage showing they are alive and well. I think you probably need an attorney for the likely civil law suits to come.
Would you not contact your family after your father kills himself and your family still thinks you are still in danger? Family have not been shown the video of Hannah at the border or bus station.
Not another dime investigating a missing person who clearly has disappeared of her own accord. Every picture/video of her shows she was alone and not under any duress from another person or persons. This is a family matter not a law enforcement matter.
To Tom’s point, it’s unfortunate that resources and media attention are being misdirected towards this case which clearly involves a woman who does not want to be found, thus taking away from actual missing person cases.
There are more than LAPD were investigating, There were FBI and other agencies as well as cleared the person she was with. I bet she's a liberal and a feminist
There is something up with that, I think they have a secret.
How do you know? How do you know it's not the family that is in the wrong?
Anyone speaking with emojis should go to the same parking garage the father went to.
I don't think so, he was chased up to the 7th floor and was being attacked by an LA gang and jumped not realizing how high up he was...
Just track her bank information and emails, and there are your answers
If this is a purposeful walk away, she likely saved cash for expenses and will stop using her email and social accounts because she seems intelligent enough to realize police will monitor and track them.
@nomadicobserver4224 there's always a slip up along the way
Man, her father’s senseless death was all for nothing.
It showed the signs of the coldhearted evil daughter who only cares about herself.
Reminds me of a child that ran away and once she became an adult she wanted nothing to do with her mother …or family
Not everyone wants to be found. Move on to some one that does want to be found ….
Her messages leaded to investigation and concern.
She could have gone anytime to a police station and say that she was not missing. Was no need to go to Mexico
well hope she know how to survive in mexico
Scam for gofundme
You are sick. Her father killed himself. Was that part of the scam?
Seek help.. her messages leaded to investigation and concern
This case is a very disturbing story. Bizarre. Hannah has a lot of explaining to do.
For a family from Maui they sure like to hangout in low end areas...Hannah sleeping at LAX and going to a greyhound at midnight, her dad looking for her on skid row for 10 days ..what's up with that?
No she doesn’t. She is a grown woman and owes no explanation. Her family has a lot of explaining to do.
@emeraldkind In her own time, Hannah owes an explanation to her family - not the public. That is what a responsible adult would do.
@@PattyBio100 her messages leaded to investigation and concern.
Could have gone to any police station, no need to go to Mexico
@@PattyBio100 I have a feeling they already know why she left. Why did her father delete himself so early into her disappearance? Why is the sister lying about the fact she has done something like this before and she has no history of mental health problems? People let their emotions and lack of knowledge to decide what she needs to do or that she is selfish and that is not what a responsible adult would do. Just saying you do not know what is going on yet you and a whole bunch of people put your opinions out there. Opinions are just like buttholes. Everybody has one and most of them stick.
There's clearly more to this. I wish her the best, and hope that she finds happiness in her life. She must have her reasons for walking away.
So much stories. She should call her family. It's sad her dad passed looking for her
Wait. And WHY does the family have an attorney…?
This is very strange. I’m sure there’s a ton of facts we don’t have. I wonder what was the underlying issues were that led to her father’s choice to take his life. Was there something that he knew that no one else did? What were the conversations he had leading up to that. I cannot imagine my father passing while searching for my sister, only to find out she was “voluntarily missing”. If it comes out that she chose to disconnect from her family in such a scary and abrupt way, leading to his decision to take his life….. how do you even process that? And if it were me that disappeared, I would be too ashamed to even show my face after learning of his passings and the circumstances surrounding it.
That is my question, about the father.
Her messages leaded to investigation and concern. She could have gone, anytime, to a police station and say, I am not missing
If she didnt want to be found she would have already told someone.
Does she know her dad is gone because of her?
Seems like the Kobayashi clan produces some unusual people. There’s these folks from Hawaii. Then there’s the hot dog eating champion Taderu Kobayashi, the guy who tries to inhale the Nathan’s all beef tubesteaks faster than Jerry Chestnut.
Lol😂😂😂😂 I couldn't stop laughing they are definitely a weird family they haven't even considered maybe she dont want nothing to do with them
She needs to explain what her game is and start acting like a responsible adult.
No she doesn’t.
She’s acting like she’s 15. It’s really sad.
@@emeraldkind she does.. weird messages which leaded to investigation and concern .
Fleeing to Mexico. She could have gone to any police station and say I am not missing. Anytime, especially after seeing the search and publicity.
Looks like the case of the kayaker who staged his accident/death
@@Elena-fe3os You don’t know that she has seen any of the efforts to find her. You don’t know what she is running away from. It sounds like to me she is running for good reason. Any father that deletes himself over a missing child so early into her being missing is suspicious.
This is very disturbing. I hope she’s ok and hopefully call her family and let them know she’s ok.
Go Fund Me scam
Yup. They aren’t giving the money back
It seems to be that way..
How do you keep from hating her selfishness. With one phone call her father would still be alive.
If she wanted to disconnect is a fine decision ….but not let your family know ….huge red flag …now this already cost her father life …to me is already a crime ….
Why is the news still covering this? It's entering the realm of creepy and nosey at this point. Let the authorities investigate what's going on and then report on their findings.
This guy just keeps cutting her off instead of letting her talk
The sister looks sus
Suspicious? How?
I don’t care anymore!! stop wasting precious time and resources on her! Rest in peace to the poor father! selfish B! I don’t care if she wants to disappear, one social media post or one text could’ve avoided all of this!!! disgusting woman!!
Wow now she’s a B. You don’t know any more info than anyone else. You don’t care but you are running your troll mouth.
IM GETTING ANNOYED WITH THIS DRAMA
Then stop clicking the UA-cam video?
What if she got catfished by someone in Mexico. They scammed her for all her money and they told her if she wanted her money back to go to Mexico. Unless that person who took her money she mentioned on her texts was her dad and she took off distraught- her dad off guilt decided to exit out
I’m am so sick and tired this grifter family…refund the go fund money now
. She Left on her own will ! Something is so wrong with this family
Looks like this lady is copying the Wisconsin guy's playbook
Because Hannah is over 18, she is 30 then police cannot really disclose her location to her family if Hannah's decision is that they do not contact her or know her private information.
I think this is why LAPD cannot just simply disclose her private information including location.
Dude, settle down and let the ladies speak. My God is it frustrating to watch a clip when the journalist asks questions and then rudely speaks over their guests. Ugh....
Unbelievable! 😮
Lawyer: “Me and my investigative team are….” Seriously?!
How do you say that you confirm she's in danger... But you didn't actually confirm anything.
Why someone would leave a telephone behind???
Attorney?
And the dad died because of this
I hate to tell the family but they need to pay for help now if they want it. Nothing shows the police should be involved at this point. They need to hire an investigator themselves if they want answers.
The messages leaded to investigation and concern.
Hannah could have gone to any police station, anytime, saying I am not missing.
Tired to keep writing same.. many blame the family.
Hannah could have gone to any police station, anytime, and say do not look for me
@Elena-fe3os yeah. Although we don't exactly know her mental state so it's hard to exactly know what she may or may not be thinking. I hope the PD releases the video of her leaving on her own cross border to Mexico to help understand that it is she might be doing or not.
Those tats tell a story about this family.
Ur Very smart,,.. something most people wouldn't even think of.
Agree 100
The last lady this but it resulted in a much more gruesome outcome. She was shot and murdered by her husband. Her two dogs were killed as well. The practicing witch had a ton of witch stuff. Her two sons are getting rid of all of that crap.
@@ihiihilauakea - I sense a bit of sarcasm. Let me know if I'm right or wrong.
I think Sydni is lying and that Hannah does have a history of mental illness
Attorney doesn't know that Hannah has never disappeared before? I thought she did this before in Hawaii, they even placed flyers on local stores. Instead of wasting money on an attorney, use it to buy some In & Out Burger.
How did they miss this video for so long.... Family needs to start being honest.....
So if there’s really a footage of her crossing alone and then what? Will the family still not accept the fact that a grown person can choose to leave their family? They should explain more details because they can’t just say they know she’s in danger but can’t disclose it just the word of mouth?
The family is too much, especially the crazy aunt and the sister.
The LA PD needs to make public that video footage for anyone to believe it.
All of it sounds 🐟 🐠. " Was she involved with someone? That's where it starts,... Not too mentioned the death of her Dad.. All of it sounds crazy
This girl is one sick person.
Stop wasting resources on an adult who's still alive and travelling around voluntarily... she's 31 years old yeah???
To Tom’s point, it’s unfortunate that resources and media attention are being misdirected towards this case which clearly involves a woman who does not want to be found, thus taking away from actual missing person cases.
There are more than LAPD were investigating, There were FBI and other agencies as well as cleared the person she was with. The person could just be someone that sat next to her on the flight, or her ex-boyfriend, I agree the family is not be forthcoming on come crucial facts of her history and relationship. The LAPD must had shared all the confirmed points of her presence with the family,
She could have gone to any police station and say I am not missing. Anytime
I hope they sue the Police department once the truth comes out
quit interrupting her! geez
He’s only got a certain amount of time, and wants to make sure he can ask all of his questions.
Yea thats weird to say the least !!! Like why would you not call someone !!!
looks like she hates her family. maybe they should get the hint and stop looking.
Maybe she is having a mental breakdown and just put herself in more danger she isn't ready for?
@@gardenfairy351 30 year olds don't need their family to help look after them. they are adults capable of caring for themselves. I guess the police already know this.
Wow! What a waste of time and money. I will never donate to a Go Fund Me again. They need to return that money.
This is now officially NO ONE’s business. It’s a private family matter. America has enough to worry about, not every story is for your entertainment purposes.
This will be on a lifetime movie soon.
If she’s in Tijuana, she could be in real danger now
She is under mental health crisis and the government just left her in the dust.
So, she went to Mexico for psychiatric sessions 🤔
Hummm, the story the sister is giving…doesn’t add up. Why would the Father off himself after traveling to La, when he knew she was alive and well. Sounds like she got feed up with something that was or is happening in the family in Hawaii
The facts they used all the resources on her lame self is beyond me
