- In this video, I did some fishing and exploring at a creek and spillway in Dahlonega, GA. I ended up catching quite a few bass, a few of which were much bigger than I was expecting.

The park with the creek that you were at in the second half of the video is right down the road from the Dahlonega water treatment plant. I think they dump the treated water right before the park which would explain the nice water quality.
UNG is a fantastic school btw, would 10/10 recommend it.

I went there when it was the NGCSU Saints.
How do you access the spill way
I just walked down from the dam, but now since it’s warmer a bunch more brush has grown around it, so there’s less space to cast, but still enough space to fish. I actually went there in my newest video and I kinda showed how I walked down there and what it looks like now, so you may want to check that out.
