The Gempro at best is +/- .1 grain accurate. Therefore it is not a good scale to evaluate the Prometheus. Perhaps a Sartorius analytical balance will give you better results. Also, to really evaluate any measurement system you need to perform a GRR analysis.

It’s not learning, it’s tuning. Totally different thing.

I trim each powder kernel to the same length

alex autry I think I'm going to try that, now that you mention it.

Aaron, did you ever pick up the kernel that jumped out on the first throw? 😂😂😂

No disrespect intended but its kinda funny how you are using the worlds best beam scaled powder dispenser and that digital scale.. my man you need either an A&D fx120i or and A&D ej-54d2

Youre about 6 years late on the comment. Lol . I actually have an HR100a scale.

    That's really accurate and fast!

I would judge the gempro, not the other way around

the gempro is actually a pretty crappy scale for repeated use as it likes to float when used for extended periods of time. This vid was to do nothing more than test the speed and accuracy of the G2 Prometheus during initial setup.

@@aaronhippATS you tested speed, not accuracy

is the set up just as much as the 1st gen prometheus?

While the utility of getting better charge weights than measured to the same 0.1 grain on the Chargemaster is debatable, there is no question when measured in testing it lowers your SD if you take the time to test it. Whether a 6 fps SD is going to really help if you have an 8 fps SD already is the question. This is a benchrest product, or King of Two Mile type shooting product. It is not a product for PRS shooters, 3 gun shooters, etc. where you don't need better than single digit SD and .5 MOA group size. It is, however, faster than my Chargemaster... then again, using 3 Chargemasters so you never wait and can toss any over charges back in the hopper is even faster, costs less, and gives plus or minus 2 granules of powder instead of plus or minus 1 granule.

I disagree. This is absolutely a product for PRS shooters and removing/reducing variables is the key to accuracy and repeatability

checking a scale on a shity electronic scale.
