- With a break in the weather I headed out to do a bit bait fishing from the rocks. It was a bit of a quiet day with only a few fish to show but still an enjoyable fishing session.

Thanks gary. Good vid. Fished there a few times. Will have to sort you out some bloody squid. It might buy that extra bite. Also been tipping with dirty octopus which is making a difference.
Thanks Phil. I've got some in the freezer it was just last min impromptu session so I thought ide just use up some old bait. I havent tried using octopus before ill have to give it a shot sometime.

Try a 'flying' paternoster rigs where the hook is fixed 5-6 ft above the lead. Works well on my ĺocal beaches. Good luck!

Had canny day yesterday at hebburn got a 5 pound and 2 pound

I think its called Johnsons but I'm not sure. Yeah Hebburn is on my list mate will be fishing there soon. 👍

Yeah I enjoy rock fishing.... Was good on the pier over the summer. Thinking either Hebburn marina or the grassy.
