Pink in the afternoon has been around since the 60’s. Audrey Hepburn wears it in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s my everyday lipstick! Been wearing it for a very long time….
Amazing! I knew nothing about it, but this is nothing short of a revelation! Thank you very much for sharing this, I don't particularly like and I very seldom wear pink on my lips, but Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's are such a "staple" in my (imaginative) life, that I'll go and look for it and see if, by any chance, it suits me. Thank you so much 🙏
It’s not for everyone. I am fair with cool skin undertone and I bought this lipstick because of the hype. It looks so terrible on me as it has a strong yellow undertone
I can’t believe they still make Pink In The Afternoon…it was my wedding lipstick 30 years ago!!😳🥲 I chose it strictly for the Audrey Hepburn connection, lol…I don’t think I even tried it on first. Love that you’ve reminded me of this.❤
I know so much women who don't wash their faces in the morning. One of them is Dr.Dray...and I trust her quite a bit. She explained "the science" behind it, but of course- I've forgotten what she said. Nevertheless, I'm also trying not to strip my skin of all the oil it produced through the night, so I do a minimum to clean in in the morning. Majorly it's due to my laziness, but I'm convincing myself that it's good for me🙄😁
I love Revlon. I think their blush is the best blush out there; even better than the more expensive ones. The lipsticks are great too. A dermatologist told me when I was 11 and had psoriasis NOT TO WASH MY FACE IN THE MORING. The natural oils are best for our face.
I have been wearing pink in the afternoon for over 30 years. ( I’m 56) Always in my hand bag. It was created for Audrey Hepburn for the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She applies it in the cab in the back seat!
I purchased Pink in the Afternoon last year after reading that it was a favorite of Audrey Hepburn’s. Love it, such a good neutral pink with my fair skin and silver hair! So interested in the Cedarwood scent of the deodorant you showed. Must try that!
Estrid are great - I skip months on end as I don't shave often, so note that you can have one and ask to be sent things every 4 months and even skip to the next 4 months.
I'm even worse at face cleansing in the morning. Because I don't. Just smearing the over night produced oils from last night around my face. Works wonders, promise. Any yes, Revlon Lipsticks are absolutely great.
Hilarious as always 😍 “I’ll just continue torturing you” 🤣 It’s so true that it’s the whole experience of a thing that matters, from what it looks like, feels like and how it performs. Having a sturdy ergonomic handle on a razor is a big plus! X
I know what actives I’m choosing to use on my skin, but I’m in a minefield with makeup sneaking in actives. My response lately has been use my own actives less often, to accommodate whatever I am trying in makeup in case it messes with my skin. I am going to look out for the shampoo you recommend.
I liked the cream deodorant better though I agree it’s not as straightforward to use as the solid stick. I also like my Estrid. I put my subscription to every 3 months to counter that I don’t use it all the time. Thanks for the recommendations :)
Useful information. I have an esters razor and the blades have gone blunt and they never send me new ones 🤷♀️. I’m not sure how to contact them sooo boots it is.
Thanks Ruth..love your videos.!! Youre so lovely...btw could you reccomend a good exfoliant for a red flaky chin🙈.. have tried a few but as soon as i put concealer on my chin falls off🙄..
I tried the 0% aluminium deodorant in the pale green packaging and it didn’t work for me as well as there standard one. I have however find the Wild deodorant works excellent, touch more expensive but I have it on subscription so it’s sorted out the bill account. X

Bloody bell how old is revlon😂

My goodness, you look like a wonderful blend of Lauren Bacall, Kate Moss, and Uma Thurman! But completely you, so pretty!
Lol “because I can’t be bothered” Love your honesty 😂
Such a treat to see you this evening Ruth, I could listen to you talk about anything, your so engaging❤❤
Thanks Julie, that's a lovely message to get on this fine evening!

I adore 'pink in the afternoon'. Been my staple shade since you recommended!
Love the budget recommendations Ruth. You look lovely in that colour as well.
Thanks Katie x
Great recommendations Ruth! As others have said I could listen to your voice all day! So relaxing. Love from Ireland ❤
Thanks Niamh x

Didn't know the Hepburn link!
Haven't seen your podcast lately welcome back

I think Ruth knew about Pink in the afternoon and our beautiful Audrey Hepburn its been mentioned before. So beautiful you are girl ❤❤❤xxx
A woman of many talents!
Ive been wearing Pink in the afternoon for about 8 years 😂 gorgeous colour!

Audrey Hepburn, pink in the afternoon ❤❤❤
Pink lipstick is forever, no matter what time !
Great suggestions, thank you:) I must ask where you got that gorgeous robe?

Thanks Ruth, I usually use Phillip Kingsley Itchy Scalp Shampoo which is pricey. Will give this H&S one a go!
Yes, I love that one too.

Someone has said you can buy them at Boots now!
I think Estrid is now sold in Boots and I believe they do a pack of refill blades! X
Thank you!!

Why is it red and flaky? What are you using, retinoids? x
@@RuthCrilly think its contact dermatitis.. i never use any retinol/retinoids there..
What is the UVA PA rating for the suncream please?
May I ask why you're not using antiperspirants? I find them more effective
Great video Thank you ❤
Thanks!
Estrid blades are in Boots. The blades last so long too. Great brand. X
Thank you, solid info! x
Omg I’ve always called it sun tan lotion 😂😂😂

Their standard one is probably one of the strongest deodorants of all time though, it's almost unbeatable! : )
*immediately finds nearer Boots to purchase Revlon lipstick*
: )
Estrid is the namn of my mother 😂
❤❤❤❤
Didn’t know “sun tan lotion” was an 80s thing but I could never work out why I say that 😂😂 I was born in 1989 so I’ll blame my mum for that
I also say "flush the chain" for flush the toilet which makes no sense but also a relic from childhood : )
all the comments on camera, pronunciation, trivia, setting are really distracting
