Why do we display the Rebbe’s picture? And why was the Rebbe opposed to people taking pictures of him in the early years?

Interesting lesson... Todah! Incidentally, viewing a video is simply viewing multiple photos per second in succession. I'm glad the Rebbe permitted videos of himself to be recorded -- realizing the great benefits these videos would bring to those who viewed (and listened to) them.

I once heard at a farbraingen that people have mirrors in the house to see what they look like before they leave the house; chassidim have pictures of the Rebbe to see what they should look like.

Photography captures the spiritual energy of the moment and the object of the photograph.

I have a picture of the Rebbe that I got from a man on the street in Jerusalem near the Western Wall. It's about the size of a business card.
Even though as a man of color I was not welcome at Chabad. That does not take away his message for Judaism

why they dont accept people of color, is the Chabad movement racist and are all of em look down on Jews Of Color??

what do you mean by unwelcome? If you're a convert, religious jews in general feel strange about converts regardless of race, but i think they would at least let you be in the shul and they'd be friendly and answer questions. maybe you just went to the wrong one.

I go to a chabad and there are many people of color. Chabad most certainly does not look down on colored Jews

I have seen the picture in the prayer hall of many Chabad houses, that along with the refusal of congregants to come to terms with his death sounds like they want to start a new religion!!

The display of images is idolatry if your a true believer....
