This is excellent!! To see good that was revealed in the past and present and even more good that can and MUST be revealed in the present and future. Moshiach NOW!!
Thank you for reminding me but I can't let my zeal for eretz Israel to be confused with the secular government of Israel and the damage they are doing too young Jews not teaching them their roots
At 8:50 he essentially says that the secular state of Israel does not have the right to lead, even though it had the blessings and consent of "the Rabuneem". I thought that if the Rabuneem tell you that your right hand is your left hand, and your left hand is your right, then it is so. So therefore Israel is a state, ruled by Torah, even if it does not appear to be one.
"The only ppl who have the right to give direction to the Jewish people" are those with deep connection to the Torah. The Jewish ppl live by the Torah, so it would only make sense that we get our guidance/direction from those who are deeply knowledgable with it. He says some rabbis then gave approval after the fact of their election, i dont know enough details about that, but the leaders themselves were (are) not Torah scholars. The day we live in a completely Torah observant Israel will be true peace, be ezrat Hashem please may it be soon! That said I am truly grateful for the state of Israel, as he said much good was done, and thank Gd we have the law of return, and i believe everything that has happened is all part of Hashem's larger plan toward redemption, may it happen speedily in our days.
Wrong Rebonim. That's only true of the Great Sanhedrin for globally significant questions. For local questions it's true of your local Rav and Beis Din if they're elected by the kehila.
What is today called "religious Zionism" came something like 40 years before secular (or "political") Zionism. The idea and practice of resettling the Holy Land was orginally a movement among Orthodox Jews. Theodor Herzl hijacked the idea and made it into a godless alternitive to Judaism. The religious Jews already settling the Land had good hearts, and assumed that the secularist Jews would soon return to Orthodoxy, so they allowed themselves to be called "Zionists," although they were first and owed nothing to Herzl. The kibbutz movement is pretty much done. Kibbutzim today no longer practice communal living, the grandchildren of the founders want competitive jobs in the city, and what's left of farming is being done by hired labor, mostly from Thailand.
@@benavraham4397 Chananiah, good points. A lot of members of later generations of the kibbutz movements (other than religious kibbutzim) have even left the country and intermarried. Some also became very strong baalei teshuva. It is hard to generalize. But Hashem is using the raw material of secular Israel to accomplish His plans whether we like it or not.
No, but he kept every letter of the Torah. He went to battle holding a torah scroll, not a radio of galei tzahal. His battle cry was shema yisroel and nothing else. He didn't fight so that his descendants would marry the children of Ukrainian cossacks and become Hebrew speaking non-Jews. P. S. He wore a double head covering just like we do today; the fact that it wasn't a black hat is irrelevant.
@@truthseekers864 yes yes. He had double head covering, wore shtreimel and of course David haMelech was Lubavitcher (sarcasm). If Talmud did not mentions double head covering, he did not have it. If Talmud mentioned, I would be happy to see the source.
This guy is awesome...
Excellent. This message coming from Chabad gives an extra impact, because nobody can accuse them of being unsupportive of Israel.
I love the story about the Frierdiker Rebbe!
I am so appreciative of what you say. Thanks for this food for the soul.

If you’re Jewish enough to be persecuted, you’re Jewish enough to make Aliyah!! 🇮🇱

not sure if you have knowledge and / or understanding of religious Zionism. furthermore, current status of kubbutzim is a point of interest too.

No he didn't. But why does it matter how someone dressed? Is that a even relevant factor related to this topic. 🤔
