Ehy not cut the corners of the starter shingles on 45' angles so the sealant is continuous to the corner from the eave and the rake

Doesn't malarkey require ring shanks for the shingles anymore?

Tell me if Highlander AR is a better choice for a roof layover than Vista AR. I know you guys don't promote lay overs. But i got to do it. Its a one layer 3 tab original to the 20 ur old house.
Also, if you could detail the materials i shoulf buy to install for a layover, that would be awesome.
