I nice, well-controlled off-the-cuff performance. The sax player sounds as if he is feeling his way to begin with the delivers lines of real power and substance. The drum solo is a model of taste, and is clear the drummer is hearing the tune all the way through. This is jazz at its most sensitiove, with the musicians playing for each other. Definitely a walk in the park, not a race.

Jazz is the worst music. It was about “theory” blues was about feelings. Blues led to rock and roll and some of the best music ever made. Jazz music ended up on the lowest watched videos on UA-cam and in elevators and holding music.

I used to be like you in some capacity, but if you think jazz is just about theory then I think you got a lot to learn. If jazz didn't come first, you wouldn't have rock and roll or anything after that. It literally set the foundation for all modern popular music and is still very alive today in various forms.
I would highly encourage you to check out artists like the Brecker Brothers or Snarky Puppy. Their music is a lot more modern as far as jazz music goes (and is more in the fusion category), and for me that music was the gateway to the more traditional stuff.

      zack,
i respect your opinion of jazz being bad, but to say jazz music is on the lowest watched videos on youtube is just plain idiotic and disrespectful. This video (2 thousand + views!) and many other jazz music videos have reached many views and watches (even in the millions!). How could you generalize that a genre with millions of listeners/watches has the lowest watched videos on youtube? I've seen many blues, rock and roll, classical, rap, hip-hop videos with very low view counts. There's always going to be low views in each genre.
