In capitalism, you become rich by making big profits, but only by making people take losses do you become rich-ER. It wasn't because starting a business is too much work, but because they didn't see the financial benefits of the industry. Now that they do, people like this can flip-flop on the issue, lobby for the laws that support their investments, and capitalize off the profits while pushing out minorities and/or small business.

Think about the negative connotations associated with “pot heads” yet it’s perfectly fine when people drink alcohol occasionally or previously even smoke although Tabacco was advertised with “health benefits” not as much today bc so many people got fucked over and died. If you smoke weed in public some will still scuff but if your at a bar your not automatically labeled an alcoholic from being seen doing it once. It's a truly insane thought that there are people in prison right now for weed possession. I feel like I live in another dimension, I've been smoking weed since I was like 15 with my friends.
This is why from the very beginning we wanted decriminalization of cannabis, NOT legalization. Unfortunately, most did not understand the difference. Now they will see why decriminalization was the proper option.
The only problem with decriminalizing is that jobs will still require drug testing
Decriminalize doesn't mean you can smoke it whenever you want, it just means you won't go to jail for it. Decriminalization means switching to fines and the cops taking your weed when you're caught with it.

There's something with filing out a FFL form when purchasing a firearm ,that if you have a medical card by their classification of marijuana technically they could hem you up because of it asking if you are addicted to illegal substance or something along those lines

The US isn't even top 15 in healthcare in most studies and rankings (primarily due to access and costs, there's also lower success rates for curable and manageable diseases almost across the board). For education the US is higher in the ranking, but not #1 (once again, if you can afford it, its anywhere from fine to great, but you need money for it to be decent). Wealth? I mean the US is certainly top heavy, so I don't really know how you measure that in as all it does is skew the numbers up? The US also has the 28th spot in people living below the poverty line. That puts it below countries and statistical bodies like Serbia, Thailand, Vietnam, The European Union, and Canada.
For the little people like you and me yes, but America is very effective in doing what they want to do. They are trying to keep poor people and PoC from success as they as always have and they've been going strong for 250 years.
People just need to grow their own few plants at home and cut out dispensaries.

@@StephenPShaw As far as perennial goes, auto-flowering(ruderalis species genes) cannabis is the easiest to grow and has high clone rates. They can be grown outdoors in most conditions unlike indoor plants that require crazy setups, but they do want some nutrients at certain stages. Only downside is that they dont produce the most yields in comparison.
It has come to the point where grower’s are selling weed on Craigslist for half the price of normal street value while dispensaries are selling grams for as much as $40 about 3 times the street value. I just see the black market will still be the way people buy weed soon

Some of us have been acting as if its been legal for thirty years. Most of us still follow the rules anyways, except for those on pot. Rules are for the people. Not the dudes in charge of enacting them. Small farmers really need just as much permitting as a big company, as monopoly is illegal! - Swami is fun to watch for sure, ive learned lots in the last year from his channel! So, i just harvested my first legal grow, 4 plants total 8 lbs... Not gonna sell, cant afford permitting here. Guess ill use it all myself, as i definitely recommend everyone grow their own!

The legalization of marijuana should be regulated at federal level to protect children and teens. The news at the TV was about a teen smokes marijuana and passed out drooling. All the dispensaries around the country should be monitoring and check the content. How much they sell? The dispensary that sells the product to the kids, should be immediately close. A girl purchased a lollipop couldn't close the mouth and dull until the effect pass away. Any adult providing kids with marijuana should go to jail. Human being should always have rules and regulations. Protect the people.
