Wicked. From start to finish. Love the guys for being obsessives but mainly for getting you to there to drive the 037. Well jell. Well ensconced. Thank you Jonny
Carteroni in New Zealand are also producing new 037. Stunning cars. For our wedding I was driven to the ceremony in a 037 and my wife in a lancia stratos.
There's Porsche, Saab, Volvo, Citroen, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Fiat to name a few that have quirkiness, engineering, racing pedigree, innovation, all of it. Lancia comes on top of them all. There was a time when they were the cars for whom wanted understated yet elegant and dead gorgeous, luxurious and beautifully engineered cars. Also they weren't afraid of trying, questioning the norm and make things their own way. They have built the best rally cars ever, they race rally and many other track disciplines including endurance racing simultaneously, something not many or any other manufacturers can say, all through the amazing yet small (compared to others) Abarth team. Coolest brand on the Planet, by far. May well Maturo Competition keep bringing these beauties to the road and their owners enjoy them fully. Thank you Johnny, another cracking episode with my favorite rally car of all time.
You may or may not have helped sales at MCC but I have no doubt more RC Tamiya 037s will be flying off the shelves this Christmas thanks to Jonny and this video. Lol.
@@kungfutroosers I came here to say the Tamiya version is 4WD lol... I'm a stickler for authenticity when it comes to my builds, I'll be making my Mercedes 190E DTM 2WD since it's on a TT-02 chassis!

Great video of such an iconic rally car! This, the Stratos and Delta Integrale are just brilliant. Chris Harris’s YT video on being a passenger in all three cars, piloted by legendary rally drivers for a Pirelli tyre day in Italy is well worth a watch!
What a craftsmanship! Words fail, proud to be Dutch! 🇳🇱 Build with so much love for details! And better than the original! I’m a Volvo lover but with a big weak spot for the Lancia’s of that eara !
Oh how badly I wish I had the money for one of those! The 037 is just my utter utter dream car and listening to that car is just stunning! Thank you for this amazing video!
It was quite an experience seeing this car at this year's Hellendoorn Rally. Especially the first time at the service area we quite could not believe what we were seeing. A timeless beauty of a car

@@TheLateBrakeShowthere was one 037 brought to Scotland as a competition car I’d guess this comment relates to a beta Monte Carlo of which there were a few dozen sold in Scotland mostly red or green/grey. The 037 has always been so expensive and rare it would never be abandoned .
It may well have been another Lancia with some sort of (likely unfinished) homebrew kit on it. All I remember clearly was it was very faded red and the triangular aero. Awesome video as always sir… Tyrrell’s Classic Workshop released a video TODAY on a Renault 5 Gordini Turbo, the little all white hatch being rebuilt. Seems like an awesome little car… of course the rally one is cool too
As a youngster, I very nearly bought a Lancia Beta Montecarlo, which was for sale in the next door village, with a dream of “converting” it into one of these monsters, but when I went for a test drive, my foot just about went through the rotten floor, and even though it was only about 4 years old, the body had succumbed to rust and it was already beyond hope.
