Once i installed the mabbett lights andew things happened. A few times whe i start the cAr and thre interior lights go off the mabbett lights will stay on for a about 30 second before going off. Also when opening a door or the tailgate the interior lights will not come on as well as the taillights will not illuminate as they usually do when opening the door. This can be fixed by playing with the contol button or starting and shutting off the car a few times. It doesn't happen often but it does happen to me and others who have done the upgrade. Despite this i still recommend the mod!
We had the same issues. Keeping the instrument lights at full brightness or really close to it made a difference for us.
Just curious can you turn the lights off while driving?....Is switch connected via the back light?
When you map lights go off so do all the Mabett lights. They work off the interior light switch. I did notice that if your instrument lights are set too low the Mabett lights will not turn on.
