To correct this I have seen other reviews where people say and actually show the airpod pros charging on the watch charger, but my third gen airpods don't charge on that plate. It's possible the newest airpod pro 2 with the usbc wireless case will charge on the watch plate. I can't test that because I don't own them.
If you want to use this charger, you need to buy a magnetic case like Pitaka or some similar case like that, 15w it's the wireless charging speed that Samsung support
So the only airpods that will work with a watch charger in general are the second generation (newest) airpod pros and the third generation airpods and only if you get the magsafe case. I did recently try the third gen airpods on the Belkin rear watch charger plate and it did not charge. I'm going to conclude this simply doesn't work and that only the front magsafe area can charge the airpods. If you have a different experience, feel free to post and let me know. Thx.
Belkin's support faq for this product also indicates that the rear puck only charges various Apple watch models. Airpods are only listed as being compatible with the front magsafe plate.

Hate that the cord isn’t a swappable USB-C. I have to use a 2m minimum cord because of where the plugs are in my room, so that’s a bummer

Yes! As long as you have the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) case, as the other and older models weren't compatible with Apple Watch chargers.
Great desing, is there a version for Samsung Galaxy? or is it compatible?
I don't think so. If the Samsung phones don't have the magnets in the back the phone wouldn't be able to stick to the charge pad.

Yep! Any iPhone with MagSafe is compatible, with or without a MagSafe case.
