Dude, nice truck will be getting a '07 XLT sport next week in black. The only problem I'm going to have is that my dogs are a Huskey mix and a Kuvasz both white in color. Got a extra seat cover! LOL
Nice truck, great deal, love the dark blue tone, enjoy. Got my 2008 XLT Supercrew SB 4X4 with the 5.4 V8 in Sept. 2018 primarily to tow a small RV camper. Mileage was very low at just over 69K and will likely remain so for remainder of my ownership since it's our 4th vehicle. Only put in another 1.1K miles since then so far. It was bought thru an auction of former U.S. Govt. (TSA) vehicle so plain white in color. Found some Ford themed and FX4 decals on the internet to spice it up a bit even though it's not a real FX4, but it looks rugged enough with its shiny chrome clad wheel covers, Firestone A/T tires, front tow hooks, and black running boards so the avg. person won't know the difference. My 1st truck ever, very impressed with its ride, handling, power, and towing. The Supercrew is very spacious for its interior. Now I get the appeal of a full size P/U truck.
That's clean! Nice truck. I have two f150 heavy duty package with the 5.4 and they both run amazing. Take care of the engines and change the oil regularly.
@@BlakesCars2 mobile 1 is a good oil. There's a guy on here that I follow. He test oils and lots of different products. He's got a video with the best to worst synthetic oil. He's not sponsored by anyone.
Those 5,4 V8s and great Engines me dad had a 2000 Ford F150 and the only things his truck needed in ten years of ownership is a new altinator, battery, and belt.
Nice looking truck and for that price you got a hell of a deal. I've got an 05 FX4 myself and I love it. Unfortunately the 3v 5.4 has a bad reputation. If you want to keep it for a long time, and keep it running, replace the oil pump and timing components as quickly as you can. The single biggest problem with them are the factory oil pumps. They're crap and lose pressure at moderate rpm. Replace the pump and phasers, check the cams and followers/lifters and you'll be good to go.
King Daniel that’s why you need to get the updated oil pump. I just have to install the updated oil pump with a full timing set replacement then I’ll be fine.
Trash the running boards. I did. They rot from the inside out. Once they are gone it's easier to get in and out and you don't get dirt from the rails on your pants etc.
I’ve been wanting an 11th gen F-150 for the longest time now and I’ve been saving up for it. Next month is when I’m getting it and just watching your video and seeing your truck, I’m getting so impatient lol. It’s a very nice truck, just I’m a little scared to get a 5.4.
@@LLANTALOBOTOMIK I ended up getting a 2017 F150 with the 2.7 EcoBoost. Not as much power as I really would like but I drive 50 miles each way to work everyday. So the EcoBoost helps with gas. And I have a custom exhaust so it sounds nasty
@@LLANTALOBOTOMIK yeah lol, the truck was already kitted out with a 2.5” level, and 35’s (along with a lot of other things but these are the main two that affect mileage), and it’s not the greatest lol. Pulling about 15mpg average, but can get around 20 highway with a light foot or very cautious cruise control.
Hi my parents just got me one of these f150s. What do you mean it’s common for the rear end to go out? Is it lack of preventative maitnence that’s makes them go out?
Oh if you use a wet magic eraser on the steering wheel it will pull out the oils from the years of hands and make the leather soft again. Give it a shot
I was gonna ask about cam phasers? If they had been done. I have a love hate with the 5.4. So I’m in both sides guys. If plugs and phasers are done before you get it. Your good to go.
Joes Golden Garage Plugs have been done on this motor. Can phasers I’m sure are original. If the engine poops out I have no problem dropping a new one in. I love the low end torque this engine offers over the new 5.0
BlakesCars2 nah my brother in-law drove his with bad phasers for a year making a hell of a racket. Finally had it done For $1600. Runs great agin. It’s not a death sentence for the motor
People say people this motor is so bad but it's really not if you just take care of it. My dad has the 5.4 in his f150 and has almost 170k miles on it without issues. People are idiots 😂 Edit: at 178k now lmao
I have a 2007 that I brought new. It has 162,209 miles. This has been the biggest piece of crap I ever owned. I purchased it from Germain Ford in Columbus Ohio. And that was a horrible experience but that's a story for later. I said I would never buy another Ford. Never say never. I purchased a 2012 Transit Connect. The transmission module went out and has been setting for over 6 months waiting for the chip that Ford can't get. Local Ford dealer said they have no idea when they will get it. I'm saying this again. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A FORD AGAIN. IF I DO PLEASE SOME ONE BEAT THE SH*# OUT OF ME.
I mean it sounds like you quite literally bought two old ass Fords with almost 200,000 miles on them. It could’ve happened to any brand you bought, you just bought the worst models.. f150 has been known to be a bad year and the transit is a throwaway car lol. Also, ford cannot help that there’s a worldwide chip shortage.. reiveualte your perspective.
I have the same truck it rides like SHIT ya feel every little bump in the road even with good tires. The seat belt has strong retracting force, very annoying don't buy only by looks.
My dream truck, Hope I can get this truck soon

OMG MY DREAM TRUCK
NICE BUDDY love ittt
5k 4x4? depending on the issues and miles that's a good deal.
Nice. I just bought a 2007 super crew with 141,000 miles for $4,000. I put a new engine in it for $5,000 and now it's a perfect truck.
BlakesCars2 yea it’s worth it. They are voted one of the best when it comes to work. These trucks can take a beating and still move forward.
Sorry but, when you say "new engine" its a Rebuild engine?
5k for a new engine? Jesus Christ’s mine is under 3k

if you cant find a steering wheel you can buy a leather wrap that you can sew on, that what I did on my 2013 xlt and it is great!
Awesome video, I am currently looking at a 07 F-150 and this has helped me make my decision on whether I will get one
Will you?

I would buy it too for $5k! That’s insanely clean
Very nice truck I have 07 f150 myself yours look completely different on the interior than mine
Get a steering wheel cover.. I got a king ranch and the cover makes the difference
