True that. Actually the success of the Aprilia SXR and Suzuki Burgman should push the market to introduce more maxi-scooters in various spec and price brackets. The Aerox is a step in that direction.

Why to buy such a highly priced scooty, rather by investing 11lakh + a customer can buy himself a scooty showroom of other brands which are highly on sale 😊 I dnt see any reason for buying this maxy scooty n the takers who would mostly be teenage will never buy this
Actually bmw has priced it based on the brand value...if this was priced between 4 to 5 lak then there would be one in every corner thus making it common among all class of ppl

Great new strides in the maxi scooter space with the Aerox on one hand (which pushes the needle a hint forward) and this at the other end of the spectrum which takes the halo product space. The real fun will be when we get the 200 - 350 cc offerings from mass players like Honda / Suzuki etc which will be 1 or 2 steps ahead of the Aerox and relatively affordable as (hopefully) sub 3 lakh offerings.

Dont know what strategy BMW thinks always, a scooter in a heavily used country with a price tag of 9.5 laks for a 400 cc is too insane.
They’ve already experienced the criticism of higher tags for 310 series and the new generation bikes came with competitive pricing.
For a scooter around 400 cc with inclusive of brand image i think 4 -5 laks would be ideal price tag
