I've always believed that the mark of great musicians is that they sound better live than they do produced and this did not disappoint.
It's sort of an expression for the desire to have someone with whom you've shared feelings love you back once again. The entire song is about lost love and that lingering pain which says, "I think about you all the time; can't you think about me?"

i think thats the point of a relationship when you start sort of drifting apart because the first sparkle sparkle, all is pink and exciting and new, you get used to the other person and you recognize that your not longer thinking about the other one almost 24/7, and so does the other. And you want to go back in his/her head!! thats what i think, but only tegan and sara can tell you the real story ;-)
