Early life of European eel (ITS-EEL)

Get a unique insight into the mysterious and little known life of young eels. This video show the early life stages of European eel and gives you an idea of the unique eel hatchery facilities at the North Sea Science Park.
The video is produced as part of the in the ITS-EEL research and innovation project (ITS-EEL | Improve technology and scale‐up production of offspring for European eel aquaculture).
The aim of the research is to establish larval culture of European eel leading to a production of eels in culture.
