“We’re getting slammed in here guys you better hang back” best line the hole movie with a close up of a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 v10 truck carrying Dorothy 2
It's actually a 3500- when you look closely on the first scene where its zooming in to the truck driving down the road you can see on the side of the door it says 3500 V10
@@H-BrosProductionsactually its supposed to be a 2500, they used like 10 different trucks for the movie and ita fun to spot which one is which. Windshield damage seperates like 4 of them lmao.

RIP bill paxton "the extreme" RIP phillip seymour hoffman "Dusty" Dusty and bill was my favorite character :c It makes me sad the fact my two favorite characters actors from twister died :c Dusty was my favorite character because hes funny, and usually i would call him "crazy guy" since i was little whenever i watched twister (yes twister is part of my childhood, and is the first tornado movie i ever saw) Bill was my other favorite character because he was pretty cool. Man its really sad they died :c
Dusty was easily my favorite character if the movie. I love how he acts like the group's idiot who's always late, but can still show that he loves his job when he listen to Bill near the restaurant when he's told to pack up and go, or after he tells the group that the tornado that nearly got them was headed towards Wakita. He looked at the orhers with a serious face, didn't say anything and was the first ready to leave.
0:40 *Bills tells Jo the tornado is about to shift it's track* "Wasn't there a road over there? 0:50 Jo: YOU'RE RIGHT LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S GO! *Bill backs up and take the alternate road* 1:04: *Despite that sudden stop and back up, none of Bill's team vehicle crashed. All vehicle are now perfectly lined up on that mud road* No seriously, most original tracks like this make a good job of syncing the music with the actions in the movie, but when you can tell exactly what part of the movie goes with what part of the music, you know the composer(s) did a perfect job.
One thing I love about the Barn Burners is that they know Bill so well. When that dude pulls off and heads down a side road, they’re going down that side road. They know what they have with Bill and his sense of the weather, and they trust him implicitly.
dan198660120 To be fair, this movie, as awesome as it was, is pratically a 2 hours Car comercial, whenever they were travelling between tornado chases, we always had good shot of Bill, or Jonas's cars.
Google image search and you can find a perfect replica of Bill's RAM truck WITH a replica Dorothy in back on the interstate down in Oklahoma. It's so cool. I would love that!
JF Maldonado as I said in a comment I just wrote, composers usually do a good job syncing the actions with their music, but in this movie, the "syncing" wasn't just good. It was perfect.
0:41 I remember When I was a kid those notes afraid me no joke. But then after I love those good notes while Bill accelerates nearly the tornado (great scenes and Ways of filming).
In both TV shows and movies, we rarely get the full version of the soundtrack within a show/movie. Look at any cartoon or Japanese animes intro. You'll generally see a montage of clips with a 1 to 2 minutes track. Now look for "(Cartoon/anime title) OP full" or something, suddenly, that 1-2 minutes tracks turns into a 3-5 minutes one. Thay's the same for movie music.
Dude something about a dodge ram that will always be a symbol of this film. Especially the music. This is probably one of my top 5 favorite comfort movies to play over and over
3:38-4:40 my favorite of this song plus I love the chanting in the background and drums bet you this part was a way to advertise the truck in the rain.
Cow. 'Nother cow. Actually i thank that was the same one. Me and my friend would say this all the time when we was kids and the ''this is cursed that is cursed'' part from the mummy 2.

I wanted to meet him so bad, he was the whole reason I got into learning about tornadoes

😉😉🤣🤣
That 3:39 moment when you see the Dodge RAM accelerate through the rain in the slow camera
TheNextEncounter that part still gives me goosebumps to this day! such a perfect scene with the intensified music!
This is my theme song when im mad
That truck was simply awesome.
Omg i know exactly what scene your talking about. I also loved it and told my dad so when we watched it. Completely agree with ya

Adam Ohm 😂 Awesome idea! I’m gonna download it so I can listen to it the next Time it will rain 👍👌

I have come to notice, that any film with Mark Mancina being in charge of the soundtrack, always turns out excellent
Robert Tucker Yeah but there’s only one Twister 😂😂👍

If i were to ever travel through Oklahoma or the Midwest during twister season, this sountrack would be cranked up at the sight of a twister lol
Some day I'm going to find a J10 jeep like in this movie and make a fully working Dorothy to go along with it! Be awesome for car shows!

3:39. Such a strong piece of music. Full of determination.
Epic beyond words.
Such a haunting score.
always love how this sounds like a battle march...coupled with the unearthly choir (the “voice” of the tornado?).
3:39 Why aren't movie scores this memorable anymore? Just the same syncopated BUM-BUM soundtrack over and over again.
Mark Mancina is also one of Hans Zimmer's understudies at Remote Control Productions, so that explains why his score sounds so awesome.

Richie Baker *HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT*
I like both a lot, movie has some decent humor and soundtrack is just godly
Movie was great IMO. But yeah, soundtrack is definitely one of the movie's highest points.
Surprised nobody mentioned @ 1:13 through 1:37 being cut out of the movie, I wonder why, it's one of the best parts of this track.
Probably cut for time, that's why they usually release soundtracks to films
