Bartering is socially accepted in many areas of the world. Often the $1350 price that is quoted is what they hope to make when they would really let it go for much much less. Some people inflate costs because they enjoy the back and forth and will often come out better off. Some don't want the hassle and set a competitive price from the start. Unless you want to pay the name brand upcharge there's always a comparable option that is hungry for your business and more eager to please
Always read negatives reviews about belt makers overseas specially in Pakistan, one of the reason's i won't get into collecting belts because it's expensive, wish i could. Only belt i have is the white strap scratched logo wwe shop 2012 IC title which i might releather it to tv quality for $200 and even that is a struggle for me, paid $180 2nd hand for the IC locally in great shape with the wwe bag and he included a wwe elite loose Luke Harper (missing his Lantern) i have a pic of it in my YT channel on the community section.
The belt looks really nice but I don’t think it looks better than one I have from Mateen that probably cost half of that. The new V2 Shop winged eagles are really good if you can get over that logo thing
The price should always be advertised in US dollars. A screen shot of the currency of one day in another currency should never be in consideration because the dollars go up and down every day! If it's 1200$ US dollars that should be the price. 🤷♂️
Good video man. I don’t trust any Pakistani belt makers anymore. I’ve dealt with ordering and not getting my belt from Moc Belts, I’ve dealt with getting god awful tin belts, and even my IWGP tag from ELT, the snaps didn’t line up, so you can only snap one side.
I was going to buy a sendout strap from him and he wanted me to pay in pounds. I called him out on that because I would be paying more and I ended up changing my mind lol😅
February 26th is when we actually put the wheels in motion to start making the belt. I told him I was going to pay him on March 15th and that gave him time to get a head start on the belt so that I can get it by April 1st. So roughly 6 weeks from the time I gave him the green light to start on it, to the time I actually ended up getting it.
@adrianriley753 It took him 5 weeks to do my WCW 91-94 and its quality is miles ahead of the belt I've just received. 6-8 weeks seems to be the normal production time for Altair Belts.
Very good video thanks for the heads up on this maker hate that happened to you man that's why I will always stick with Orm he made me a demolition style tag belt that I'm going to make a video on soon that is absolutely a work of art I have never had an issue with Omer he ships when he says he's going to with tracking and no BS also has a lot better prices all the way around and the standard definition belts I've got from him is just as satisfying because it's so well done

The $ -> Pound conversion was a red flag imo

He’s making two belts for me right now. How long did it take from the time you placed the order till you got the belt?
