No problem I hope it is helpful one thing that I can suggest which is in the comments is the comments is to add some copper or silver Antiseeze so if you ever have to take it apart again it is easy

hello Can you help me which car's internal grenade goes on the kia forte 2011 coupe 2 4
What did you push on to release the axle??
Wish mine came out this easy my cv axle is seized in wheel hub..a simple job just turned into a nightmare i am to the point of cutting the axle in half and replacing hub as well..i noticed the noise and immediately tried to replace it the same week so it should not have gotten to that point already..
I'm sorry to hear about your nightmare this is why some of my subscribers pointed out the use of anti seanti seize on the CV axle when installing it I wish yours had came out as easy as mine fine you probably live in the rust belt never a easy job let us know how you solve this problem.
@@willsshopdayton5206 i made some progress on it thankfully i soaked it for days with three different penetrating oils took some heat to it and finally got it out..now i am going to get a hydraulic press to get bearings in and out and to get the hub back together with the knuckle hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here on out..thanks for the video it was very helpful
Checking VIN my 2011 Forte EX says it’s a 6spd Automatic, but yours is a 5spd automatic, and you accidentally installed an axel for a 4spd? Is the 4spd and 5spd for that year only? Just need to know if I need to know anything else before ordering Axel, thx!
Just check what month it is made sometimes if its in the 12 month of the year it count towards the new year model. Thanks hope this was helpful let us know how it goes.
@@willsshopdayton5206 guess there’s only 1 for automatic and 1 for manual. Btw what size is the castle nut on the hub? Which mine is loose and prolly why I’ve been having problems and my shaft went bad 😬
@@willsshopdayton5206 yup, I ordered for my year and it was wrong piece …didn’t know about that 12 month deal
@@Tekjivethe 2010 kia forte comes standard with a 4 speed auto trans, but has an optional, less common 5 speed auto too
I don't think you need to remove tie rod. no even the strut. Just the ball joint and pull to the side.
Pry bars make the removal a lot easier than a little hand held screwdriver and hammer
I agree with you that pribars make this job a whole lot easier unfortunately I did not have the right privatery for the job so I use the screwdriver Thank you and don't forget to subscribe
Thank you for the video. My only criticism would be to torgue bolts to spec. It would be a bad day if bolts came loose. Also I would use anti seize spray or copper spray on axle before installing in knuckle. If you keep car for long it will save you aggravation removing it in future repairs. Thank you for taking time to make video. ✌
Appreciate the comment thank you have a blessed day
Neither is necessary, copy paste warriors love to jump through videos 😂
Great instrutions! I want to confirm, to pull the drive shaft out after you got everything out of the way, you "pried" the drive axle with a screwdriver to release it from the transaxle. Right? No clips or special tool needed to pull the axle out.. (2010 Kia Forte) Mine is a 6-speed manual - should not make a difference.
Great Video and thank you!
