Hello Dustin I'd say don't try and fix what " Ain't " Broken !! Buy a Couple of New Chains and air filter...clean it up !! Not sure why or When you would really NEED a bigger saw !!!😊
Looks like an awesome score hopefully you can find a real ms660 but if not a clone saw will work good for you aswell I have absolutely loved my neotec ms660 clone
Just an FYI, the bar oil over at Atwoods in Vin. is cheaper and was rated better according to project farm. I have been running it and enjoying it. Very impressed with what you got there!
I would take a look on the exhaust side. I recently got a 460 and it ran and started nicely. Looked in the exhaust side and it was slightly scored. I opened it up and found that the cylinder was still salvageable. I replaced the piston with a good AM meteor piston. Running good so far. I have a new muffler cover/pipe waiting to be installed on mine.
Nice score for $25 - they usually go for stoopid money. Looks like it might be the 10mm version (so might even have slant fins on the cylinder which jacks the value up too).
@@oakiewoodsman he stole it - smoking good deal. I couldn't get a great look at the saw in the vid but if it's a 10mm slant fin it would likely fetch $400 on the ol evil-bay...
@@faithfulfarmadventures3898 I'll email you a pic of the difference between a 10mm & 12mm wrist pin saw. The slant fin part is easy - take the top cover off and if the cooling fins run diagonal it's a slant fin....
i was thinking about i scrap out a lot a/c UNITS&refridgerators so i get quit a bit of oil from the compressor .andwas thinking i could use it for bar oil &to oil my blade on my sawmill??????? what do you think?

Good ideas! Me either lol
Is is always good to have a beauty like this. Once you get this one all good, the 391 will likely never be used again.
Definitely!

@@902hand7 well how do you tell if it’s a 10mm with slant fins and what is the difference?
