Mahito with his "You thought this was gonna be another generic Shonen Arc where the Protags win?!" Speech. But in all honestly that speech is so great because we're so used to seeing the good guys win time & time again in Shonen. But then this Arc turns that up on its head by having Mahito's side plan this whole battle way ahead of time & taking this way more seriously because its a war to them. Just like Mahito said "This war is going to determine whos left standing a century from now".
Mahito's VA (Nobunaga Shimazaki) work here is on par with Heath Ledger's Joker for me. I've read the manga before watching anime. I knew Mahito. Well, I thought I knew him. This VA just brought him to the "what the actual f**k, is this even legal?" levels of awesome.
