I love this episode because it adapted my favorite chapter in the series. Crazy that chapter 128 had Kokichi and Miwa's scene, ON TOP of some of the best parts of the Mahito fight
I think the greatness of this episode comes from the massive depths of despair transitioning into the great heights of Todo and Yuji rising. Having the main character be someone so easy to root for and the villain so easy to hate makes the back and force incredibly impactful.

I cannot hate on Mahito.. He's been constantly learning about himself since his first fight against Nanami and then Yuji + Nanami in season 2.. It's been amazing seeing his evolution.. What a great villain

tbf its not about the fact that they could have used the extra help, Mechamaru's reasoning is the most logical, and its basically implying that if that Kyoto students went to Shibuya they would have been in no help and got killed off very quickly, they're weak after all. Mechamaru realized that him and todo were the only ones that stood a chance. Now if people like Yuta or Yuki showed up, then things would have turned out very differently.
if yuta or yuki were from the start there, nothing would happen... Probably gojo would go alone anyway, but yuta or yuki would have a backup plan if anything happened. Also, fake geto would change his plan so yuta and/or yuki couldn't interact with gojo at all or his plan would be dead though
Idk kamo seems highly capable to me at least. And they could've provided support, eg with the crowd of transfig humans while others try to reclaim gojo. I think mekamaru is just selfishly trying to put his mates out of harm's way. And I'm totally ok with that. Highly understandable.

They would’ve died on like the first jogo rampage or the sukuna domain expansion
Gojo's shirt (250,000 yen) is $1,700. There was a post about how Gojo's clothes and furniture are all hyper-expensive luxury items. Gojo is the strongest sorcerer and the leader of a clan, after all. He's likely the wealthiest sorcerer, possibly besides MeiMei.
I've said this before and you can call me crazy but JJK is the best mainstream anime from Bleach til present. It has everything you want. Good story, part gory, great animation style, no fillers, good ost's, etc. I'll let you name the rest. Also, I absolutely loved the ending of this episode. As a Manga reader, this is what I've been waiting for. The Comeback. The Hype. That moment of disbelief that there is a glimmer of hope after all that suffering. This is the moment that solidified Shibuya arc as One of the best If not the best Shonen arcs of all time. If anything we should be praising the Mappa Employees who slaved too make this as good as it has been for the anime fans as it was when the chapters we're first releasing from Gege. I hope they begin to get the restitution they deserve because this shit is art. Man I read this shit.. TWICE and Miwa had me, a grown ass man bawling like a baby for the second time. shit is bonkers.
This opens a whole new perspective towards Mechamaru for me. Mechamaru did help his comrades in Shibuya, he wanted them to succeed, but he knew that there will be a shit load of casualties. He sent away his friends not because he don't trust them, but because he cherished them too much to put them in harm's way even tho' it's their job. His action doesn't represent the brand of Jujutsu Sorcerers, but it represents his own brand of affection. Respect to Mechamaru.
Also, it's amazing how the show had to rip the audience apart first to create a satisfying 3rd act like this. They did the 2nd act very nicely, they definitely hit the emotional bits perfectly.
Mechamaru is actually somewhat correct. Remember that Namani said that his level was the minimum required to participate, he was also buffed and has no Domain Expansion. The only reason why Kugisaki wasn't as much of a liability is because she can effect souls. The Kyoto students have nowhere near the power or utility the characters currently participating have.

I recently just learned Black Flash makes your attack x^2.5 and not x times 2.5. Always thought black flash was lame but it’s actually insane. For example imagine this is a game and we see damage numbers. If your normal attack is 10, black flash will be 10^2.5 which equals 316. If your attack is 25, black flash will be 25^2.5 which equals 3125 The damage jumps up like crazy

The ability of that Nitta guy is kinda handy ngl. If he managed to stop or suspend the death of Nobara,then Shoko can reverse it as long as there is 0.00001% life left in her.
To quote someone, the issue with Nitta's intervention isn't physical damage, but if her soul is still intact. If any other villain gave her that exact injury, and Nitta arrived, Nobara's survival is above fifty percent, because her soul would be unaffected.
So i feel like Nobara has a pretty good survival chance, if anything shell be missing her left eye, but as long as the attack didnt effect her brain, so if the guys technique stops the bleeding and lessens the pain, i dont see why she shouldnt make it
My favorite episode so far is yuji vs chozo. That episode as a whole just does it for me. Chozo is also one of my favorite characters so of course I'm biased.

Mechamaru did the right thing imo he operated with the awareness of the core group of curses behind "Geto" which was limited in itself and now that we know "Geto" isn't really Geto, we have no idea how horrific this guy really is, only that he can apply his knowledge with Geto's cursed technique // the use of veils the obtaining of the prison realm, the planning and trapping Gojo (after doing a test run of simple domains)... Meimei is probably dead isn't she (no spoils) another way to look at it, Kugisaki was told by Nanamin to go back. Who among the Kyoto group would have been suitable to venture down with Nanami in that moment
If they had more people to help, more people would have died. You've seen the level that the fights are taking place at. Almost everyone from season 1 would not have stood a chance. The fight of Jogo and Sukuna alone should show that. He basically melted a several block wide area and then slammed into it with a meteor. We saw pretty much everyone from season 1 go against Hanami alone and basically all were beaten. Even Todo/Yuji were about to lose to Hanami's domain expansion if Gojo hadn't broken the barrier. Now think of Jogo, Hanami, Mahito, Choso, Dagon, and "Geto" all fighting. It would have been even more bodies. Just thinking about it, the Zenin clan head, Maki, and Nanami were all about to die until Megumi had jumped in to battle domains.
You can tell what kind of person Yuji is by how he said what he did about being a murderer. At first he said SUKUNA did all of that but at the end of the sentence he said IM nothing but a murderer. Even though it was sukuna who did what he did Yuji still feels its his responsibility
The unwavering love that Todo legitimately has for Yuji is just wonderful to see. The guy turned from a gag in many viewers eyes and into a pillar that is willing to keep the only one out of 2 people he cares so much about afloat.
I think the timing could have been better or the setup but to me Nitta saying to Itadori "There is a chance that girl can be saved" is more so about boosting Itadori's morale and make him fight rather than they trying to cheapen Kugisaki's death with "She is actually not dead". Like Nitta was used as a character to boost morale and not an angel bringing someone back.

If they had more people to help, more people would have died. You've seen the level that the fights are taking place at. Almost everyone from season 1 would not have stood a chance. The fight of Jogo and Sukuna alone should show that. He basically melted a several block wide area and then slammed into it with a meteor. We saw pretty much everyone from season 1 go against Hanami alone and basically all were beaten. Even Todo/Yuji were about to lose to Hanami's domain expansion if Gojo hadn't broken the barrier. Now think of Jogo, Hanami, Mahito, Choso, Dagon, and "Geto" all fighting. It would have been even more bodies. Just thinking about it, the Zenin clan head, Maki, and Nanami were all about to die until Megumi had jumped in to battle domains.
You can tell what kind of person Yuji is by how he said what he did about being a murderer. At first he said SUKUNA did all of that but at the end of the sentence he said IM nothing but a murderer. Even though it was sukuna who did what he did Yuji still feels its his responsibility

The unwavering love that Todo legitimately has for Yuji is just wonderful to see. The guy turned from a gag in many viewers eyes and into a pillar that is willing to keep the only one out of 2 people he cares so much about afloat.

I think the timing could have been better or the setup but to me Nitta saying to Itadori "There is a chance that girl can be saved" is more so about boosting Itadori's morale and make him fight rather than they trying to cheapen Kugisaki's death with "She is actually not dead". Like Nitta was used as a character to boost morale and not an angel bringing someone back.
