The thing I like the most about Yujis response after Nobara is killed is that it subverts the usual "Anime Rage" moment. He's faced so much trauma in such a short time (The Choso Fight, Sukunas Rampage, Then Nanami) that he just can't take anymore. He can't even muster the energy to scream at Mahito again.
Loves how when mahito was talking about how the war between curses and humans would decide who will be alive 100 years from now, we were shown both the bones of the humans Dagon digested and the crater in the wall where hanami was killed.
“ I will suffer in your pain as well, nanami “ not only did that quote hit hard but the voice actor speaking it like he’s genuinely crying in the studio for real made me cried even more❤
I was thinking this episode would be just decent because the true insanity of this fight doesnt start till they go outside but holy fuck, they cooked, all three blackflashes were done so fucking beautifully, Todo’s blackflash was just an empty panel with his dialogue of not leaving Yuji alone then a single kick, and they turned it into a fucking psychedelic space beam explosion of colors, the 120% panel has been INSANELY hyped up for like three years and they did it perfectly, the voice acting was insane and that last part of Mahito… wow. Next week might be better than Sukuna vs Mahoraga
God I hope not, Sukuna vs Mahoraga was honestly the worst episode this season to me. So obviously unfinished & rushed with almost 0 clarity as to what was going on. Whenever they do the ridiculous insanity fights, everything drops (quality, choreography, fps, etc..). Just wish they would give the animators more time to actually finish the truly insane scenes with the same level of quality they did yuji vs choso.
I'm glad they used the manga panel. That was very cool. They should do it more often. They already skipped some panels in the Sukuna vs Mahoraga part when sukuna used domain expansion. That was a super dope panel.

Mahito's VA gotta be one of the best ones I've seen recently... and thats saying a lot giving the unreal standard of performance we've been seeing lately, especially for action anime in general.
I haven't gone back and watched to make sure, but I think the end of the opening is different now. Instead of looking back at a crowd of his allies before walking away, Yuji looks back at a ruined Shibuya skyline.
Strange to start feeling a little helpless seeing Yuji’s state of mind and Mahito’s psychotic brutality be so present, and then to actually have some of the heaviness lifted by Todos presence. Music of course is on point but these characters are so well developed it’s wild. Kiss
Yuji crying on the floor is one of the most heartshattering anime scenes I've ever seen. I've been able to handle all the deaths - but sweet Yuji breaking down was too much for me. Fantastic voice acting.
Everyone talks about how great Junya Enoki is or the painful deaths or how much we hate Mahito, but can we talk for a moment about how great Nobunaga Shimazaki is?! He really knows how to embody Mahito's evil and madness! That last line "Try harder, Itadori! This is our last chance to curse each other!" It feels so sick and so realistic it was beautiful. As the opening says, he is special! ♡
Nick asking about HP is such a big coincidence, because this is the only ep that literally tells you. Mahito is at 40% (because his double was crushed and due to Yuji's Black flash Rush.) Todo is at almost 100% Yuji is at 10%

Both scenes that feature Miwa and Mechamaru this season have looked absolutely stunning for no reason. Some of the prettiest looking scenes in the anime so far.

Nobara was a character that i love at the first sight. Dang, her passing feels the hardest for me.
