Neat tip about using the egg box. I find votives time consuming, but they sell well so I shouldn't really moan. I have been making candles for a few years, but I like to see how others do it in case I pick up a new trick or two. Keep the great vids coming.
Thanks Nick! They are a pain, unless you make 24 at a time which is what I'd normally do. I really like them though, especially with rapeseed wax, they just turn out so good compared to other waxes...
I loved the technique to use egg carton diagonally! And it looks so neat! Would love to give it a try, thanks for the tip! I have soy pillar wax, I should probably blend paraffin or maybe stearic acid. I found that soy though it seems “non-toxic” (all waxes are safe scientifically speaking I got informed), soy doesn’t have any HT of both essential oils and FO and wow paraffin burns clean when made right with correct wick. I discovered how much of most store bought candles are of poorer qualities…unless you buy from artisan crafters maybe. I love making candles now. Thanks so much for sharing! Great instruction!
Oi Boa tarde aqui é do Brasil gostei da forma que vc faz as velas mas aqui não tem este tipo de material como poderia obter estes pinos e copos de alumínio gratidão
This is so much easier than gluing tabs to containers, etc. Thanks!!!!
Thank you for teaching us. I love your gentleness and simple technique. Love and Peace Catherine
