You’ve got bad info on how he treats fans…I’ve met him several times, as I used to work at a gas station as a teenage near that home in the palisades.. and he’s a super chill dude. He goes out of his way to make fans’ days better. I’ve seen him hang out with a couple taking wedding photos and even took a few with them…
Bill Murray is awsome he actually lived in my town..I often saw him
I like Bill Murray because he is not just an actor but also a philosophy.
There are many stories about Bill showing up in regular people's lives just to hang out with them. I wish you would have mentioned this unique habit.
Back in the 1980s, or possibly early 90s, Bill Murray came into my comic books and collectibles store in Nyack, New York. M and M Comics. He came in a few times to buy comic books for his sons and himself. This was before smart phones and I didn’t have a Polaroid camera in the shop. But we had a nice interaction. I just let him know that I was a fan of his work. Quite a few famous actors and politicians came into my store. I have the memories, but no visual evidence. 😁
St. Vincent’s is my favorite. I lived in Charleston for a couple of years and we were always on Bill watch!
I would love to see Bill Murry's movies. he is so funny
Still my all time favorite actor!
I'm 71 and Bill Murray is for my generation what Jerry Lewis was for the generation before...his money speaks well of his ability
Everyone instantly fell in love with Bill Murray, because he was us. ❤❤❤❤. He was born with it! No classes necessary.
I would say his most well known homes are in Charleston, SC. He has a house in downtown Charleston and one on Isle of Palms that he has had since before the divorce. His ex wife still has a home Sullivans Island where she raised his 4 youngest sons. He is often seen in Downtown Charleston and at Charleston Riverdogs baseball games which he is an owner and “Director of Fun.”
I recall that he is popular in Charleston for his frequent presence there.
Broken Flowers was very very good. His works with Jim Jarmusch and Wes Anderson are some of the best ever. I can rewatch Lost in Translation and Moonlight Kingdom and never get tired of them
Broken Flowers is one of the only 3 BM movies I own. Just discovered the gem (w great Ethiopian jazz) last year. I'll look into MoonRISE Kingdom.
He doesn't seem like a movie star he seems like an old friend that you haven't talked to in a long time
I've loved Bill Murray since he was on SNL many many years ago. I have the same attitude toward relationships as he does. I'm not good at them. Being married and divorced three times I realized too late that I can't commit. It's been years since I've been with anyone and I don't miss it.
Got to love another Cubs fan!!
I have never seen Bill Murray as happy as he was in that baseball picture
“Cats and dogs living together, MASS HYSTERIA!!!!” Such is the world of today.
There is no mention of his dramatic role in The Razors Edge? I was captivated by his acting a creative choice.
I came here to say this same thing!
7:22
a toast to Mr Bill!!
Damn, seeing Bill and Candy together makes me sad. Comedy magic would have happened, with those two. Damn!
"Didn't i tell you? Call me Ernie...or Big Ern, it's for my morning coffee."
Underrated movie !
Meatballs, ill remember him forever because of that movie oh and Garfield too big orange kitties.
Bill your are one of the greats from a time when Hollywood was at it's peak. Thanks for keeping us entertained all these years. This is just my own opinion, but when Bill turns his head at a certain angle doesn't he look just like Richard Burton?
No.
Murray had an uncredited cameo in his SNL buddies hit movie The Blues Brothers as a customer buying a stuffed animal in one of the mall's stores which Aykroyd and Belushi drove through.
... "do you have this in a Miss Piggy" 🐷
I love the whole cast but I always thought of Akroid or Ramus as the "Main ghostbuster" lol
I was always told he was discovered at a bar during the shooting of caddy shack . they were all partying and met Murray thought he was outrageous and added him to the cast where he improve the crazy grounds keeper. Maybe its a rumor I kinda remember it in the behind the scenes story of cabby shack. He saved the movie
😮
... Bill's brother wrote the screenplay for Caddyshack
You forgot St. Vincent. He played a grumpy neighbor. He was asked by the single mom neighbor to be the son’s babysitter. The shit they got into and Vincent’s influence on the boy were made evident at the movie coda scene. To me one of the scenes that hit home was when the young man now, was at Vincent’s funeral.
No he mentioned St Vincent real quick but you're right it's one of my favorite
bill murry is one of those bad boy comedian, like john belusi, who he was best friend with, he never gave up the second city improve ablity and thats one of the reasons we still love him today, even if he does hate people, i know because im one of those people too, it seems in society if you love people you dont last as long as those that resistant to people, a matter of supply and demand sort of thingy in life.....................
Bill is one of my favorites!
love the movie set in India!
and ground hog day! LOL! Woodstock ill will never be the same for sure!
I really liked him with Adam Driver in The Dead Dont Die.
Was in college when "Where the Buffalo Roam" came out. I loved it and saw it several times in the theatre. Had no idea who Hunter S Thompson was, but being a huge Murray fan, I didn't care. Just loved all the crazy scenes and antics. Still quote many of the lines from that movie, similar to what we used to do with the "Caddyshack" lines.
Used to coach against him in Palisades Little League. Seemed nice to me.
Kanye , zero, vacation rules , eddies a classic
My favorite movie of his is What About Bob. That movie goes down in history as the funniest one he's ever made.. but that's just me. I LOVE that movie lol. Makes me laugh every time. And his characters usually entertain me. But Bill Murray the human being.. he's not a good guy, is he. He makes that clear. Almost to flip ya'll off about it too lol. His wives should've received more money from him.. for 4 children. C'mon now.. they're rich lol.
As a psychologist I agree!
Have you dug deep about "What About Bob?" Bill seriously traumatized Richard Dreyfus during the shooting. I thought Dreyfus' part was the funnier of the two. Murray claims he tormented Dreyfus during filming to assure a realistic portrayal of Dr. Marvin.
I kinda think Dr. Marvin was portrayed by Dreyfus expertly and no additional friction needed to be applied (which is consequential between the two to this day).
I live where that movie was filmed...I pass the locations all the time.
A good friend was the caterer of the film and danced with Murray at a party for the crew...Dryfus she said was not very nice but Murray a great guy...
I was an Actress Exta in the movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽
❤I loved all of his movies 🎬 🎞 🎥 🎦 📽 ❤️
Stripes 💜
He didn't voice the hero in "Fantastic Mr. Fox". He voiced a side character that was a Badger. The lead character (Mr. Fox) was voiced by George Clooney.
*long live attitude!*
All sons. No daughters. Asians everywhere envy him.
Dan Akroyd, for better or worse, is the main Ghostbuster.
Names kid lincoln,he is genuine a
There is NOT a Santa Fe County in California
does anyone agree with me that.......Bill Murry in his prime looks like; Al Bundy???
Can you do how Woody Harrelson lives??
When james burry going to do what about bob part 2
Only three minutes at the end have anything to do with the title of this video. The other 20 minutes was spent on what most Bill Murray fans already know. Basic filmography with some gossip.
Bill's name is a dirty word in the Philippines.
Seth was being a wimp.
No wonder why his dad Dr. Evil told him to
“Zip it”!!!!!
Percaya dan dibaptis Bapa Yahweh, Yeshua Hamasiah, Ruakh Haqodes pasti selamat
😅😂😢
Our "hero"? LOL
No wonder he plays such a good dirt bag he is not acting
I've been a HUGE fan of his as I am a guy who watched almost all of his movies but when I hear of what a mean spirited prick is
he can be he lost me as a fan. There's just too much evidence that he's just not a nice guy....
Qualcuno vuole che tu pensi così
I didn’t like the way he treated Lucy Loo.
Or Gilda Radner
Bill Murray is a example of right place right time and luck. There’s no excuse for cheating. Guy’s a fool.
While migrant kids were in cages; yeah.
Nice video. I've never liked "the person" Bill Murray, although I've liked some of the movies he happened to be in. As "a person", he comes across as self-important and arrogant. His personal grudges and "banned from" list make him unappealing to me.
thanks)
So true. From Chicago met him twice at parties. Great movies but now acts like a Jerk. Don’t think it’s an act.
This annoying! This is just a movie retrospective. Not living up to its title in the slightest. Bah!
when he was on SNL.
He’s not the main
