Welcome to the Letterman UA-cam Channel, home to all your favorite clips from Late Night and Late Show - as well as conversations with the writers, producers and performers who helped make it all happen. The language may strike you as quaint & flowery, the clothing comically lacey & ornate - but that’s how things were back in this colorful and now bygone era. - Розваги
"They're excited to see the lights & cameras "...Hahahaa !
It’s classic bits like this that made Dave the best in the business. Full commitment to the joke. A true Legend.
Yup, a legend in his own alleged mind!
I miss this so much. I wish we could go back
We are :)
And we get the communal experience now. You know. Because of the comments.
"Go AHEAD, back up!!!" L0L
@@thelettermanpodcast Please SPLAIN dat for me cuz I'm Amerikan! DoH!
@@mr.blackhawk142 lucky blackhawk!
Bill Murray + David Letterman = Comedy Gold 😊
Always. And Bill was always so creative.
Paul, Maybe silver, but WITHOUT Dave it would be Gold! :P
@@thelettermanpodcast Bill Murray is right up there in "Comedy Valhalla"!

What a great show. Late Night was so awesome. I started watching it from the first night.
What time zone R U in???
THANX for sharing! I had FORGOTTEN just how big of a DORK Letterman was all those years!
“Yes suddenly, I’m Soupy Sales.”
This channel is a godsend. Why hope the current lot of Late Night offerings provide us a ‘viral moment’ the night before, when we can get a daily dose of Dave, curated every day? The latter please.
Roberto DURANS EX SPARRING PARTNERS OLD GIRLFRIENDS …. I love it
Please... No mas!!! No mas! No mas! 😂
How many of us would drop $100 for an official piano-shaped music box that plays the Late Night theme? I’m in!
Same here. I felt a touch of envy when Paul opened it up to play.
Is anyone else a little upset we didn’t see Fisk hit his homer?? 😆
I don't even know who Fisk is - but then, I have no life... 🖖
@@walterfristoe4643 catcher for the Red Sox
@@walterfristoe4643 No judgement here. He was the guy at bat in the 1975 World Series. In that at bat he hit a walkoff game winning home run to send the series to game 7. It was one of the most epic home runs in World Series history. Now you know. 😊
Pudge. Made famous by Good Will Hunting.
@@thelettermanpodcast he was famous long before 1997, big guy
It's about time they put baseball on late. Party on Dave.
Love the Bruce Campbell cameo @8:46
Lol...must've never seen him throw them ✏️ pencils through the sets fake window.
Yes, the black phone was better. Damn you, Henry!
love dave and paul
I love Bill Murray!
Is this the first "Cover me Paul" utterance? I still say that to my wife and she hates it (after 41 years - not sure why).
Was that Joe Garagedooropener doing the play-by-play for the '75 series?
That is the MLB film with Joe Garagiola narrating.
NBC did owe him a night off.
Bill with black hair was so sweet.
I wanna know more about that party…
This is awesome 🤗
Damn, I thought Murray died in that zombie movie! Or was it Groundhog Day?
🤔
And they go to 75 world series...classic
Well, in all fairness, Governor Bill Clements had historically small hands the likes of which weren't seen in modern politics until Donald Trump.
@UA-camr
I wish that was true.

Did I get that right?
A+
Just kiding
Was Paul pulling a Tom Brady or did Brady pull a Schaffer?
Considering that Brady was only a little over 4 years old when this first aired, I'd have to say that Brady pulled a Shaffer.

One Year contracts ,
Blame the guaranteed contracts that’s why they go out on the DL all the time !
GUARANTEED CONTRACTS!!!
And Get over crying about why they knocked down the old Yankees Stadium!
The New Yankees Stadium is the same thing directly across the street from the old one !
They won the World Series in 2009 the first year of the new stadium!
They don’t win as much because
Hal Steinbrenner don’t have the burning desire to win like his father George did !!!
Guaranteed Contracts! That’s why they don’t care if they go on the DL for every little thing !
Give them a one year contract and watch them never go on the DL ! Like the old days !!
Little known...FACT! David Letterman didn't really have an overBITE in High School, but he was the ONLY guy in his class who could eat an apple thru a picket fence!
On the program tonight, we've got comedian Jerry Seinfeld, Billy Carter, and filmmaker Errol Morris, so stick around, we'll be right back.
