I bought them all through my cable provider comcast.......each season is only 20 bucks but I bought them at the per episode price of 2.99 lmaooooooo No clue why!!!!!
“Xena has a plan” “You do?!” “Yeah, and you’ll fit into it nicely.” The fact she’s already figured out he’s not a Spartan and is a Persian spy from this interaction is insane.
Valerie Valois Congratulations! You’re going to have so many hours of fun! I bought my complete set a few years ago and enjoyed every minute of retracing Xena and Gabby’s adventures 😁
Step 1: Push arrow all the way through. Step 2: Apply pressure to stop the bleeding. Step 3: Identify injury or damage type (poison?) Step 4: Cauterize the wound with a hot iron Step 5: Find an antidote ASAP if necessary
@@jemandjemand2362 is there a safer way to remove an arrow where the lung does not collapse? Or is getting shot in the back or chest cavity pretty much a death sentence?
It actually depends on the arrowhead and location. Some, for example, you trace the wound track with feathers and use the spine of the feather over the barbs of the arrow then pull it out. Other arrows are designed to cut and fall out, usually hunting arrows. Some arrows you have to knife in and widen the wound channel to pull out.
Some folklore had it to start the back end of the arrow on fire so when it gets pulled through the front it cauterized the wound..... and yes you would be feeling it a great deal
We all feel fear but we don't run otherwise they been nothing to protect. Funny story a friend was telling me that he was walking with his pregnant girlfriend and he heard a dog barking, without hesitation he ran towards his car leaving his pregnant wife to fend for herself. The car was only a few feet away and it turns out the dog was tied up but his pregnant girl must be proud of her man lol.
Poor little Texas, first she gets a turned ankle on the bad landing, her boot gets destroyed by Xena, and now she gets stung by a poison arrow. Its official, Little Texas is having a bad day.
Another marvellous fight scene! Nothing is too much for Xena! On the basis that Xena is set in the ancient Greek world the Spartan unfortunately looks more like a Roman 😂
yeah with my lung and sholderblade punctured and fracturered, and i am still able to talk without you know gargle gargle blood gargle. tough girl movie logic
pro tip don't push an arrow through if it hasn't got out the other side of the body, you will do way more damage and more likely kill the person. also don't break it off and cuase it to splinter leaving stuff behind in the body is a bad idea.
Would getting an arrow where Gabrielle was shot in this clip even be survivable? From what you described the way Xena handled removing the arrow should have killed Gabrielle. It's almost shocking to see Gabrielle up on a horse like nothing after this.
I don't like this episode because right after Gabriel gets wounded they cut to Comercial and it's about the next episode with Gabriel. Sort of killing the point of the story of Gabriel surviving the poison in her wound.
I really need to just buy the seasons instead of rewatching clips all day lol
Me toooo..stayed up till 1am watching these wonderful clips.
It's free on nbc.com and the NBC app 😁
The show is available on streaming apps in the roku.

I own it too... like treasure in a box!
one i hate you and 2 ...im coming over D: have cookies!
I've had it on VHS. I suppose I should upgrade.😄
Congrats!
@4:12 Gut-wrenching, but I always marvel at this scene; Renee really portrays Gabrielle's pain here so well. I am ever in awe. 🙇♀️👏👏
There's also the scene where she cauterize both enter and exit wound too.
@@mkaplan1383without taking off her outfit.
Wow. You can see the painful look on Xena's face when she pulled the arrow out of Gabrielle's chest. She was really hating that.
😟😨😱
Shirley Kitchens really hitting that torrible 😂😂
She had to hurt her wife to help her of course it sucked to do it
Because they are truly soulmates.
@@xenagabrielle7652 they are great
Xena knew he was lying this whole time 😂😂
She was suspicious, you can see on her face that the waterfall gives him away.
Of course she did. He's a horrible liar.
And gabrielle only sees the best in others at this time
This is such a great episode
Agreed!
This is my favorite episode after A Day in The Life, I remember watching it so well, I lived for this show, OMG.......

@@jemandjemand2362 Is that really how an arrow is removed? You can't just pull it out?

It is not preferable to push the arrow through if you can avoid ripping out a chunk of flesh. Pushing it through can cause even more damage.

To find antidote poison enemy with same poison this forces enemy to reveal antidote.
I love their ❤️
Xena didn't even give her anything to bite down on. Yikes!
Dorian ......my horse came up lame I had to kill him.
Gabrielle with swollen foot.....don't get any ideas.
I watched this scene as a kid and had brief trauma on an arrow after that lol. And I rewatched this episode 15 years later, it gets good
When I watched this show as a kid, I totally missed that they were lesbians.
That's because they left it up to interpretation. Could be Lesbian, could be a deep friendship. Could be both. Up to you. :)
@@stephiepants Sure but I mean I don't kiss my friends on the mouth xD
No you kiss family on the mouth sometimes. And to be honest, I have always kissed my best friends on the mouth at important times. :3
Yummy Toast No I don’t what the hell XD You do you but it’s pretty clear it is romantic in the case of that show
@@albatross6093 aww like I said. Matter of opinion. I didn't feel that way. Lots of people did and didn't feel that way. Perspective. Opinion. Etc.

what do you do then? Just pull it out?
Just pulling the arrow out would do way much more damage, the arrowhead would tear apart the vitals causing death.
I will remember the proper way to remove arrows next Time im shot haha

It was already through, just not enough to pull out.
I keep forgetting how great this series was; thank you you tube for reminding us! Can someone tell me which season and episode this was?
Donald Adams it’s season 3 episode 13 called One Against an Army
。
The foley artist must have gone through a lot of cheese casserole in this series!
He was lying, you could tell. He's a very bad liar too. What kind of poison was the arrow head dipped in?.
Gabrielle made the statement about hardy feeling it but you can that it hurt a lot
Te amo Xena warior princes

Looking at Gabrielle she kinda reminds me of my neighbour but her hair is darker and longer

I don't agree with the speech saying a lie about a Spartian
I also edited some videos about them, which is really interesting
