LOL, it's quite clear that Frontier put a lot more time and effort into the development of the peeps than Atari/Nvizzio. The RCTW peeps look like mindless zombies while the Planet Coaster peeps have true character and style. It's no wonder why I'm in love with the latter. By the way, love the "galleon fish" at the end... very creative!
Atari is making the same mistake as EA when they released SimCity. They think their IP is so famous and popular that people will buy it no matter what. Thank heavens Frontier gave us with Planet Coaster, like Paradox gave us Cities Skylines.
Gonna admit this guilty pleasure now...nothing is more fun than imitating an RCTW peep when on a roller coaster (doggie paddling the air, invisible steering wheels and arm pumping, grabbing an invisible bar...)
The problem with RCTW is that the characters never change their facial expression at all, its the same face the whole time. On a roller coaster you would expect to raise your eyebrows, maybe open your mouth in surprise, or maybe look terrified. RCTW doesn't do that haha

Thx for sharing this with ppl so they can make the right choice and go for Frontier instead of Nvizzio

And the same folks behind RCT3 are the ones behind Planet Coaster. Seeing as the game is not even finished yet, I'm sure they will be able to surpass the level of RCT3 with ease.

I'm really trying to understand their body movements. Like when their hands are further above the handle bars, and they are rocking their heads and shoulders, while flapping their hands; what the heck are they conveying?
What is that kind of animation when people sit on a coaster and lift their hands and do a shaky move? Some kind of a creepy dance? O whait!! They are supposed to hold the railings!! xD
At this point, I really rather just have an option to shut off peeps. (I guess just leave the park closed). Alternatively, maybe we need to work up Zombie themed assets and only play RCTW as a zombie theme park simulation. That way, our peeps will be more at home! Also, HOW THE HELL can any developer on this project sit through these videos and not realize just how horrific these peoples are???? Hell, just put a smile face on most everyone, and maybe keep one out of a hundred with the pissed off expression. ;) :(
Planet coasters peeps look more cartoony but at least animated well. They look like an updated RCT3 peeps (well made by the same team) RCTW’s peeps have more realistic features but look like zombies 🧟♂️ 🧟♀️
The worst part of RCTW is how they basically sometimes just stole other models, re-textured them a bit, and slapped them into the game, a great example being the girl peep in the beginning, who if you even put it in a side by side comparison, is clearly a slightly re-textured model of Alice from Alice Madness Returns.
