- This is a old Irish made, PYE valve radio from probably the 1950s, that didn't seem to work.
An original radio like this is always filled with dirt and dust. Manly from ash and smoke from old open turf fires that burned in every Irish house. It's good sign that it's original and never been tampered with.
This one looked good and didn't need much work. non of the caps where bad or blowen and the main thing it needed was contact cleaner to clean it out and wash out the switches and the pots.
