My 2.9 year old does the same thing same bike. Very helpful video father is way to patient and supportive.. kids just need their time.. Looking and the feet while paddeling is common.. they gotta steer for safety ( well that's why dad's are there for )
My 3 1/2 yo daughter is doing the same thing. She gets distracted and steers off the sidewalk into the grass. Also she gets frustrated when the pedals are vertical. Lol! How is your boy doing now? How long did it take for him to ride and turn?
He caught on in a few weeks. At the time he only biked when I was available on weekends. The stock training wheels weren’t good so I had to get replacements from toys r us. With the replacements he would bike everywhere, road, grass, sidewalk. The replacement ones were more sturdy and more stable when going over uneven surfaces. He no longer needs training wheels and it’s his sister’s turn with this bike.
you should try a balance bike. people who use balance bikes are able to get their kids on a normal bike with no training wheels at age 3! training wheels arent good for corners, they take away a kids ability to learn how to really balance.
The bike is too big for him. He looks the same age as my son who is 3.5. They tell you to use 12in bikes for this age range. Obviously there is a lot more bike for him to move lol
The bike wheel size is 18”. I don’t think I measured the seat height but I think it was roughly 22” off the ground. In the video the boy was 3.5 years old. I don’t remember his height off the top of my head. I have a 12” bike that was more appropriate for his height but he likes the larger bike. Since the larger bike has training wheels I let him use it.
Yeah I’m 10 and I’m just starting to learn to ride a bike for the 2nd time, when I was around 4 I knew how to but then I forgot, so back to step 1 I guess
. I like your video I'll I like your ready to go there little kid because I'm trying to ride a Spider-Man bike I can't do it can you comment me back soon

Do they make these in adult sizes? Just curious...
They do. Based on tire size. It may be labeled as stabilizer instead of training wheel.
@@AwkwardHamster I was not expecting a serious response to that.
