I just wanted to thank you very much for this video. I don’t even have the same brand bike as the one in this video, however, you helped me because it was the same assembly process. The bike we have was a limited edition and we bought it through a 3rd party and there was no clear instructions nor was there a video for that specific brand. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I love how they leave out on purpose half of the instructions for assembly just so that soccer mom's or office dads pay for the assembly the next time. lol. My instructions had 3 steps, front wheel, steering and seat. Absolute disregard for the stabilising wheels and pedals. Of course it took me 2 seconds to figure it out and get done with it, but the pedals came with a little piece of metal that wouldn't fit anywhere and made me come on the internets to find out wtf it was.

Hi Todd - What tools did you need in order to assemble this bike at home? I am looking at Toys R Us for bikes and I am trying to figure out what other tools/kits I should purchase. Thanks!

Hi Rachel. For this bike all you need is a flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver, and a Cresent wrench (adjustable wrench.) That would cover you. They are really easy to put together, let me know how it goes! I got this one on Thanksgiving night, they had some great deals.

@4:09 you just slid the front wheel into the fork. I'm trying to assemble this exact bike and the front wheel does not fit. The fork is about 1/2 inch too narrow. And yes, I have removed the nuts and wheel retainers. Anybody else come across this?

+djoshuave i hope you figured it out. If not toys r us should exchange this for you. I know thats a hassle but maybe is a defect in the bike.
