I did get to the point where i worried the anxiety would never go away..... i did obsessively research on how to get rid of the anxiety... but with your help i have stopped doing that. I still get the thoughts, but yes i just get on with my day.... it is a day by day uphill struggle right now, but i am getting there and feel better
I'm afraid why I can't stop obsessing.
@@aliiiiibaby you can’t really stop the obsession or rumination part. It will decrease only once you do ERP or exposures to anxiety.
Please tell how to track… I have always gotten very vague with it.. like lessening rumination for just a minute, but I’m not sure whether I was completely rumination free in that 1 minute or not… then for 3 hours straight I’m trying to lessen rumination just by that 1 minute straight… it becomes a mess of ocd in my mind once again. I don’t know when to stop rumination
any improvement?
@@aliiiiibaby yes, I tried ERP- it worked. Trying to build on it a lot more.
Do you have any advice on how to deal with ocd that was triggered by specific people or anything along those lines? I disregard all the time, but it's hard to maitain a good friendship and don't affect the other person negatively
But what if the anxiety symptoms are so severe? Like chest related symptoms and fast heartbeat it’s so scary and not easy to ignore
