    Do we have a video on creating an internal knowledge and case study hub? using SharePoint? if not can you make it?

    Great video, but when adding images please make sure to add ALT text to decribe the image, or mark them as decorative if they don't add any useful context to the content. This ensures people using screen readers can access the image information.

    Great video 😃 in the last part where it looks 'like a website' it seems you removed the left SharePoint-bar as well as the top command bar/tool bar from SharePoint normally under the header. How did you do that?

    • @origamiconnect
      @origamiconnect  2 місяці тому

      @@daviddezoeten9885 thank you! 🙏 the command bar is not visible when the page is viewed by users with Read permission, only authors see it, so the video shows the page from the reader perspective. The left-bar is hidden when you click the “full screen” button in the header but that requires explicit action and you are correct by default that left bar will be show to readers. Great questions!

    Hi, excellent video. I am new to making share point pages, i have run into a problem. I added a one column section, just like you did and uploaded my image. Great, but when I add text web part, the text web part itself is not centre aligned. Text within web part is allowing me to the adjustment, but web part as a whole, there is no option.

      @@ahiqtidar Thank you! To center your web part, you can add 3 column section and place that web part in a middle section. The visitors to your site will see it as perfectly aligned web part. See if that works better.

    I don't have many of the options that you have when building a site. What is that a factor of?

      @@milindalane2525 are you missing options in the first part of the video (first 10 min) or latter part? Is your SharePoint site a Modern Communications Site?

    How did you hide the left app bar? Thanks in advance!

    • @origamiconnect
      @origamiconnect  Місяць тому

      @@MDC-z4e The app bar can not be hidden unfortunately, Microsoft doesn’t let you hide it. Which part in the video is it not showing? Perhaps it was a zoomed in screenshot or “focus on content” mode which is kind of like SharePoints version of full-screen.

    How did you center your Quick Links?

    • @origamiconnect
      @origamiconnect  Місяць тому

      @@samanthaferro6947 I believe they’re automatically centered if you add enough of them (4 in the grid view). If there are just 2 or 3 they’re left aligned.
