I’ve been doing the Guitar synth thing since the GR1, VG8,. I love everything about modern equipment. I also like the Strandberg. BUT all this (sounds, tuning etc) has been available for the last 30 years. There’s nothing been added here to make spending 4 grand worthwhile. Shame really, Roland would have better expanding the GR 55 to something like the GT1000+GR 55+ Drum machine+Vocal Harmoniser. This would give the Modern guitarist a real programmable unit in one package. Now I’d pay a couple of grand for that. (Well I’d take a loan)
With the gt 1000 or helix or axefx etc already existing where's the need to put the tech in a guitar? Seems like an outdated expensive idea. Maybe I don't understand it lol. Lovely guitar and a good demo though.
Damn! I'm a bassist, and that driven rock bass patch sounds better than many actual basses. That's so unfair.
Dude killing me with playing the Emaj7 chord..
Why what's wrong?
@@RocklyGuitarChannel He wasn't holding the shape very well. So the strings vibrated against the fretboard and created a buzzing sound.

Also I feel like there's way more stuff to go wrong in this guitar.. any time you add new stuff you get new problems
