It's been 4 years and I'm still using K20 pro and I gotta say this I've never seen a Redmi phone so powerful and value for money and now also I use it for almost everything, I play BGMI at extreme, shoot 60fps videos and sometime 4k 60fps, edit and render as well. And I am never disappointed. I love my phone. And I still remember when the phone got launched starting at 27,999 but due to festive offers of Dushera I got it for 24,000. So it got even more beneficial.🙌
Absolutely. Best bang for the buck phone i've purchased and i'm not exaggerating. I've been using Xiaomi devices since the Redmi 1s and I'm using the K20 Pro as well currently, top of the line chip with good enough features, i do wished that they kept going with the pop up camera to be quite honest. I love how my phone didn't have any camera holes or notches. under display finger print is a bit slow compared to newer ultrasonics, but never misses on my end. The only service i've had to do is change the BP40 battery recently. 100% best value phone even though I didn't know that when I bought it. Survived the hardest drops and minor splashes as well! If only the K series kept consistent with ANY particular style. For custom ROMs, i've used the MIUI ORI by rukia-san but had to go back to the latest global recently. The amount of support raphaelin gets makes this phone an absolute banger. I've promised myself to use this phone at least until March 2024 which makes it a 4 year old phone by that point. Would probably give it to one of my nieces after since it still is quite a good performer.
Same here. Still using my Redmi k20 pro. I did change my battery recently as well. And I've been thinking of either buying a pre-owned s23 ultra or this Redmi k70 pro. Still undecided but I do wish the k70 pro had ip68 rating and wireless charging. The low fingerprint scanner positioning also discourages me. Finally, Redmi should bring back our pop up camera in k80 pro
Yeah. Back then was pretty well priced too. Now it seems that everything is like .5x it's price. Still a good phone just software support is finally over. Though you could still add 2 years more without any hiccups.

I had a k20 and loved it but my biggest problem was that it didn't have the right antennas for where I live and I wasn't getting a lot of my calls. It was able to make them and sound good just not receive them. I'd love to get the k70 but I doubt they fixed the antenna problem seeing that they are not marketed for my country. Other than not receiving calls the k20 was a solid phone for everything else.
I am currently using the Rising OS a13 custom rom on my 9T Pro (K20 Pro with NFC) device, and I must say, it is still a breeze to use even at the end of 2023. Everything works wonderfully, and thanks to a battery replacement a few months ago, I now get a screen-on time of 6 hours or more during normal usage. This device has truly been the best value for my money, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

No, a phone that charges at 120W over its USB-C port would definitely not be using the USB 2.0 standard. There are a few reasons why: USB 2.0 only supports up to 2.5W for device charging. So 120W charging requires a different USB standard. The 120W power delivery indicates use of modern USB Power Delivery technology and specifications. These were not introduced until later USB versions like USB 3.1 and USB Type-C. High wattage fast charging requires capabilities that only exist in newer USB protocols - like bi-directional data transmission, higher voltages, and flexible power negotiation. USB 2.0 lacks these capabilities. A phone fast charging at over 100W generates significant heat, so it necessitates the thicker, more robust Type-C cable design to safely handle the power flows. The older USB 2.0 Type-A connector and thin cable would pose signal integrity and fire safety risks at 120W. In summary, while you can still find both fast and slow charging devices with a USB-C connector, if a phone is able to charge at 120W, you can be certain it is leveraging much more recent and advanced USB capabilities than the old USB 2.0 specification. The power delivery wattage alone requires adherence to modern standards released in the last several years.

The 4000 nits is probably on a 5 or 10% window. If that is true and it can do 4000 nits on a 10% window then that would be sick.
