I think Idina gets even prettier as she gets older. She also has fabulous hair. I'm glad she can control her vocals because some singers always belt everything.

Annie's Tomorrow sounds really like a little girl dreaming for hope and a better life tomorrow, while Idina's sound like she had a depressing day and she's making her mind to keep going on!

Well i saw a production of Annie Jr two years before i saw Wicked. I didn't start going to musicals without a class field trip yet.
'Annie' was my favourite as a child and to listen to Idina sing this song is absolutely perfect.
She sang this in June when I saw her live. Safe to say, I cried. A lot.

I made the right decision on passing up this video to get to the version sung by Sydnie Christmas.
Because Idina brings out the depth in that song in such an amazing, heart-breaking way.
It's easy to underestimate "Tomorrow" - until one watches her performance.

This video almost made me cry
I just started reading “Voice Lessons” by Cara Mentzel (Forward by Idina Menzel) and in it, when Idina was a child she performed this song on a vacation (I think it was) and other kids sang songs too, but once Idina went on stage everyone was silent and looked at her. At that moment everyone knew Idina didn’t just like singing. She was a singer. Very special to hear her sing that song here.

Her voice ALWAYS gives me goosebumps.
As a PWD (Person With Disability) that has 2 very painful spine diseases, sometimes hope runs thin on bad days. So when i heard this and saw Ms. Menzel sing it flawlessly, i cried for a while. I realized that today may be a bad day, but perhaps tomorrow might be better (or at least i'll get some hours of respite). Thank you for this inspiration, Ms. Idina Menzel . Bless your lovely voice and kind heart.

This was me and my best friend's song. We used to sing it together on the swings, screaming the last note way out of tune. When we went to go see Idina in concert together, she sang this song. Thank you Idina, you made us so happy. Now I can hear this beautiful song by her whenever I want.
One of my favorite Broadway stars singing from one of my favorite musicals. That brought tears to my eyes.
I don't know if I am explaining it right, but I really like that she don't have this typical "too perfect sweet voice"like other Broadway and disney singers who sounds very calculated ( but sounds lovely) when singing. Her voice unintentionally put so much character on the song. Like lots of singer sings defying gravity and it sounds perfect, and that's all it is..... a song. Idina on the other hand sings it as if she really has gone through what the song is saying and it makes the song more of a story.
This song has helped me through the death of my father 💚 1 year and 8 months later, it can be a heavy weight on my heart.

This song will always be special to me since I had the good fortune of playing Daddy Warbucks in two different productions of the musical Annie. Idina's grownup version of the song is beautiful and clearly heartfelt.
