  • The Microsoft Phone System with Microsoft Teams makes geography meaningless. Truly. At Xerillion, we have 15 employees spread out geographically across the US and the world taking care of over 150+ clients and thousands of end-users every single month.
Clients from across the US call in to our main phone number and 5 people - not all in the same office, state or country, get rang at the same time to take those calls. Those calls are they routed to technical staff or sales staff that work in different states and some in different countries.
Our entire company is tied into our company workflows through the Microsoft Phone System and Microsoft Teams. We see each other ALL THE TIME. In addition to taking care of clients and talking with new prospects, everyone joins a 9 am daily huddle video meeting, and all other department and side meetings are also video meetings using Microsoft Teams. Collaboration is DEEP and EXTENSIVE.
When you shift your idea of a phone system from "desk phone on a desk", and company collaboration from "we all physically meet in a conference room" or join ancient audio-only conference calls - your company's ability to scale up is unleashed.
Hiring a challenge? WHAT IF YOU COULD HIRE THE BEST PEOPLE ACROSS THE WORLD TO SERVE YOUR CLIENTS?
Employee retention a challenge? WHAT IF YOU COULD OFFER YOUR EMPLOYEES EXTENSIVE WORK FROM HOME BENEFITS? Reduce their time commute time, increase their time with their families - do you think that would be attractive?
Serious (I mean really serious) about improving collaboration? GET OUT OF OUTLOOK EMAIL AND GET INTO MICROSOFT TEAMS - The Microsoft Phone system should be your inroad into Microsoft Teams.
In our modern Microsoft 365 cloud systems world, engineers "teleport" to client sites in a blink of an eye through remote access, and engineers collaborate closely with other engineers and our client service team using Microsoft Teams and the Microsoft Phone System.
We also have extreme cost efficiency - we only buy the phone system cloud services for who needs them when they need them, month to month. No 3 year circuit contracts or phone system contracts.

Wayne - There has to be something I don't get about Microsoft's pricing of their phone system. In Canada, a typical business setup is approximately $50K + $1K/mo., for 100 employees. The pricing I have for Microsoft"s calling plans is $25 local + $15 International, per month, per user. Making that $4K/mo., for 100 employees. That pricing does not make sense!!!! MS would never sell any. What don't I understand?

Hey Rob - yeah, it doesn't sound right. We sell Microsoft 365 Business voice for $20/user/month USD. Not sure what it is you are seeing leading you to those numbers.
