You are incredible Brandon. Thank you for sharing your journey and inner most thoughts in this inspiring and brave way. Since you were a little boy, you have always made me laugh and smile with your cheeky sense of humor. Never lose it! This time, you brought tears to my eyes but they were tears of admiration and joy from knowing what you have overcome and that you have set this remarkable goal for yourself. Please keep sharing with us! 👍👍👍
Hi Brandon, what a story. I can't imagine your daily life nor being in pain every day, but I'm in awe of your tenacity and positivity. It's a great way of bring awareness to Wilsons Disease and showing us an insight as to the debilitating side effects. I wish you lots of fun sky diving, go karting and your theraputic gym sessions. Go live life and keep inspiring others!
Absolutely amazing Brandon! I remember you coming into Bakers all the time with a wicked sense of humour that made us all laugh. I found you inspiring then and this video shows even more! I can’t wait to hear more about your journey.
First of all… I find you so inspiring. Sending you so much gratitude for sharing your incredible story. I too have Wilson disease that has gone to my brain. Although, they found mine late in life. My only treatment option is zinc. I’ve always had symptoms, but no one has been able to diagnose me until past summer. I’ve been having the neurological symptoms, dystonia, seizures, trouble swallowing, muscle cramps, trouble speaking only when I’m having the seizures. I can walk around the house, but any long distance walking or standing in line and my legs give out then I’m in screaming pain after. My question to you is how did you overcome having to depend on people for everything. I’ve always been so independent and it’s such a challenge for me to always have to have someone with me.
well to begin might I say, FINALLY SOMEBOODY ELSE THAT CAN UNDERSTAND 😱 and I'm so sorry that you also have to deal with this disease, also how brave of you to share some of your story in this platform. As for your question, I guess the main answer would be through years of bugging my parents to be ok with me, at first, letting me catch the tram home by myself 😅 and I just grew my independence from there🙂. I've never liked needing to rely on others for things that would block my independence, much like I'm sure like you, so I pretty much taught myself to ignore the pain and focus on getting on with life.
@@0-excuses Thank you so much for your response! I so appreciate it 🙏 Although, I was dismissed by doctors my whole life. I was treated as more of a hypochondriac than taken seriously. I’m new to this whole new normal. I had to shut down my medical spa and stop working for now. I have hope for sure. But, with such a late diagnosis I’ve gone my whole life being untreated. The fear is real, but seeing your video definitely made me have a lot of hope for the future. So I thank you 🙏
@@tiffanymccray9361 I’m so sorry to hear that you had been forced to go so long under the radar. I guess that’s yet another downside to having a disease as rare as ours. Hope is a great motivator, hope coupled with drive makes anything possible. So I’m positive you will get your business back in its former glory and beyond ❤️😊

I should also add, I try to avoid any long distance walking, long lines or any form of long distance cardio 😅
