What? He's actually a monster on drums! Brendon is a huge inspiration to me, "This Is Gospel" is incredibly relatable to me, and unbelievably moving. Ah, those words feel so inadequate, hopefully one day I'll be able to articulate the feelings it gives me.
It annoys me how you think this. Panic! At The Disco is a band. They've got three (touring) members. Dallon Weekes Kenneth Harris Brendon Urie. Try going through what this band has gone through. Dallon has a family. Nobody knows wether kenny is officially in the band or not. Spencers in rehab. Ryan and jon are gone. And now brendons trying to patch up all the holes so he can get the bands shit together.
I see where you are coming from but I think you misunderstood me. I was just saying I think F's sad how it seems like nobody cares about the other members nearly as much as Brendon, while they're all just as important
Brendon is the only original member of the band still in the band. He Also writes and records most of the music himself. Man deserves appreciation for what he does, not people complaining about how touring members aren't as important as him. We love them, but Brendon does most of the hardcore work himself.
The suggestion that Brendon is egotistical is so ridiculous. A big part of the draw for bands like this is the personality of the members - obviously the music is important, but a lot of the diehard fans love the MEMBERS. When Ryan and Jon left, a huge dent was left because two personalities were gone. Ryan in particular, who Brendon played off of during live performances, was a huge loss. Even though Spencer was still there, he was behind the drum kit, unable to really build up that personal connection with the audience live. So it was left to Brendon - he HAD to overcompensate. Dallon is awesome, but fans are not drawn to him nearly as much as they were to Jon and Ryan. And now with Spencer fighting his addiction, Brendon is the main personality draw in the band. He must singlehandedly keep that diehard Panic! audience interested. His so-called "ego" is him working overtime to keep Panic! from crumbling in the face of such significant line-up changes. I feel like a lot of people who make that accusation aren't considering the difficulty of his situation.
I should just really give your comment a thumbs up but I can't do it in my tab 😣. Anyway, I just want you to know that I couldn't agree more with what you've said. 👍
Day6? More like Slay6 I talk not only about the musical talent ( Brendon Urie is better than trap musicians ) I talk about the original composition and technical expertise, minimalism and power. Matt Bellamy even mix in a song Latin American rithms with rock and classical music chords. He talks about conspiracy and political issues. But that's personal likes. Brendon Urie is good, but he is the tipical American rock star, lirycs talks about aristocratical stuff....Matt Bellamy donate part of his money to foundations...in the interviews, he is so practical and simple...is a cult person. Drones is an album that is based in a book called 1985 by George Orwell. It's a pretty interesting concept. But is my opinion.
I honestly really love Panic! (the old Panic! and the new Panic! Both are pretty cool) You know people are arguing with each other about how Brendon draws all the attention to himself, how Spencer's in rehab and all that other stuff. I just don't want Panic! to turn into a band that people love because of how cute/hot the band members are, not because of their music rocks. You can't deny that Brendon has talent and it's a big one. His voice, how he plays a lot of instrument like a proffesional... But lately it seems like (everybody's sick, everybody's dying -just want to make a Panic! reference lol) everyone is just focusing on Brendon's face, not his talent. And I'm also telling that why is everyone is so obsessed about his ego or how Panic! At The Disco turned into Brendon! At The Disco? Why some people act like being a celebrity is an easy task? God, celebrities are always judged by evrything they do. And also imagine how Brendon is feeling when millions of girls being perv about him or think how Sarah feels about that. It's just too damn hard and noone sees that. I don't know what I'm defending here, I'm just sick of how people act about them. Most of their fans didn't even try to understand their music videos or lyrics to their songs. They are beautiful, I bet you can even cry when you understand how the story is and the connection between the lyrics and the music videos. Being a fan it's not just memorizing their songs lyrics and scream them in their concerts. We should all stop being such a jerk about everything and focus on things that we really should focus on.
Ayda Yurtoğlu I couldn't agree more with you. Because what you said is true, a lot of fans now a days (not just Panic! fans but every fandom) The girls in it are basically only liking what they see and not what they hear. And it pisses me off because Brendon is such a talented person (not to say the rest of the band aren't I love them as well) But with me when ever I hear a new song of theirs (or any of the other bands I love) I'll admit I listen to it on replay for days (No Joke I did that with this is gospel and my siblings were very annoyed.) But at the same time I do that, I write down the lyrics on this piece of paper and I go line from line figuring out what that song means or what it stands for and the music video I watch them numerous of time because they're so... Dramatic and deep. And I'm going to use this is Gospel for another example but when I watched that video it reminded me of a lot of things that has happened in MY life that the lyrics relate to and as for the Fans judging the band members it is so annoying because the same thing is going on in the 5sos fandom where the fans are judging Ashton and Calum for doing shit that honestly it's really a big deal and it makes me want to stop liking the band all together to be honest. Because they're coming up with rediculous rumors and it's quite annoying with all the drama. Basically what I'm saying is that you're right fans need to just enjoy the music and stop judging sorry for the rant lol
Janna F True, but, in alternative rock, really only those three instruments exist, i dont think ive found an A.Rock song that uses any other instrument besides an eletric base and drums
I love Brendon! I think he's very talented and seems like a very funny and down to earth guy! Can't wait for the next Panic! Tour cause I'm going! His voice is so amazing and I could listen to him all day every day, which I pretty much have been doing lately!
we (my choir) sang this song for the pop show last year and our teacher was trying to get some of us to play this and so i was with the piano and my other friend with the drums but no one could play it in the guitar except me but no one could play it in the piano either, so we ended up doing it acapella 😂
To all the bass players out there who are totaly fed up with people saying 'anyone can play the bass' or 'bass is like guitar, but easier'... I feel you. Together we'll show them how POWERFUL BASS PLAYERS CAN BE. WE'LL SOON TAKE OVER THE WORLD, YOU WON'T SEE IT COMING ISTG
I made the exam version 'if you love me let me dieeeeee, if you love me let me dieeeeeee, cause these formulae are driving me nuts and, with each flash card a part of me cries, the fear the fear of falling apart.'
Seeing this video and, starting to remember... The beauty, the awesome in the songs and the effort that is behind them... It's... An honor to cry of happiness...
For people wondering why Brendon talks to the audience less in concerts lately, he said in an interview that he thinks the current album's songs work best when they segue directly into one another, so the dynamic they've chosen for this tour is trying to minimize interruptions in the music. I agree it isn't my favorite way of doing things, but it's not to avoid interacting with the fans or whatever. So maybe that will help a few people be slightly less indignant.

This is so cool bc a lot we only focus on the lyrics but now with this you can see the back up instruments 👍🏼
It annoys me how Fall Out Boy is a band but Panic! At the Disco is just Brendon Urie
Shane Hurley You do have to consider though that it's only because many of the members have left. They are still a great band regardless.
It annoys me how you think this.
Panic! At The Disco is a band.
They've got three (touring) members.
Dallon Weekes
Kenneth Harris
Brendon Urie.
Shane Hurley Quite honestly, it depends on how the person relates to the band member or doesn't.
Emma H thank you for saying this. not a lot of people do.
Emma H this is gospel
Matt Bellamy is way better, and he is more hume
Day6? More like Slay6 I talk not only about the musical talent ( Brendon Urie is better than trap musicians )
I talk about the original composition and technical expertise, minimalism and power.
WHEN HE PLAY THE DRUM, OMG. I GET TURN ON
the bang bang makes you wanna bang bang

I couldn't agree more with you.
"Touch and DIE!"
Me with my laptop.
Brendon:it's fun to be talented
me:.... WELL I GUESS!!
Bully: *Beats Urie up*

Stella The Untameble One I swear I can feel ice cold hands ripping into my heart...
and I think I spy a Miss Jackson out the door, goddamn.
+Gee Gee again, his drumming was good, but his guitar playing and drumming are being way over hyped
+Gee Gee And? Their not the only people on planet that can do that or the first.
I love how the description says that he can play any instrument, implying that there are only three instruments in the world.
Janna F True, but, in alternative rock, really only those three instruments exist, i dont think ive found an A.Rock song that uses any other instrument besides an eletric base and drums
Janna F He is able to somewhere around 9 instruments. I know there is obviously still more than 9, but still, that is real talent.
Boom, Exploded in my pants
The title is saying he can play everything in "This is Gospel". It isn't implying he can play every instrument in the world, just in the song
Noah Erasmus No, I know that
But they only show him playing three instrumemts
Absolutely love when Brendon has his beanie it's so adorable
I love Brendon! I think he's very talented and seems like a very funny and down to earth guy! Can't wait for the next Panic! Tour cause I'm going! His voice is so amazing and I could listen to him all day every day, which I pretty much have been doing lately!
He's so perfect why is he so perfect. everyone give up, go home. it's not worth it. he won.
we (my choir) sang this song for the pop show last year and our teacher was trying to get some of us to play this and so i was with the piano and my other friend with the drums but no one could play it in the guitar except me but no one could play it in the piano either, so we ended up doing it acapella 😂
Brendon makes me cry.
Don't cry... Craft!
Don't craft....cry
+Kate Jones Don't craft... Phanic!
Castiel Winchester I LOVE YOUR NAME BECAUSE DESTIEL
Anam A. Aw thanks! I love it too! (If you couldn't tell)
+ilosemyselfcontrole WE WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD

when i hear his music, i get teary eyed. Sometimes its because its so good, and other times its because i dont have is glorius talent
Just when I was convinced he couldn't get any better, this happens.
The joy and happieness in his eyes when playing the drums is so fun to look at

This is fantabuloustic
I made the exam version 'if you love me let me dieeeeee, if you love me let me dieeeeeee, cause these formulae are driving me nuts and, with each flash card a part of me cries, the fear the fear of falling apart.'
haha amazing, I love it wouldn't it be better if it was" driving me mad"
A perfect specimen
I love him so much! He’s my inspiration for music tbh

I wonder if the 8th grader who beat Brendon up was watching this.

I lost it when he started playing drums
Seeing this video and, starting to remember... The beauty, the awesome in the songs and the effort that is behind them... It's... An honor to cry of happiness...

SparksMayFly true
This is so attractive omfg
this is why i love this man, he's so talented
He is murdering those drums
HO HO HO IT'S FUN TO BE TALENTED
I don't know why but I find it so mesmerizing to watch him play the drums, or anyone for that matter.
