Brendon and Spencer still talk and have even interacted on social media. Joe, I don’t know. Hes tried interacting with Brendon but failed. Now Ryden... so Brendon and Ryan were rumored to have a supposed romance. Some even think he left the band due to it. On some of their old performances, they even acted a bit flirty on stage. They were always so close when performing. Of course they’ve denied these rumors but even it became an ever bigger one when Brendon came out and said he’s always been attracted to both men and women. Fans nowadays (especially young ones) still make it seem as if it were true. It fucking sucks because Brendon fucking HATES these rumors. It makes him uncomfortable. Also "close the goddamn door" is actually very common phrase to say or hear when someone is frustrated with someone not closing the door, especially from parents. So the lyric is stating the common used phrase and rewording it. So not so sure its the Mandela Effect, but who knows.
