Nice video, your best one yet I believe ! It was interesting and the fact that you haven't done a complete voice over but instead talked to the camera maked it a lot nicer to see and less boring, stick with it and very good job on restoring this knife !
Thanks. I was surprised how much better the camera pucks up my voice than the mic on my laptop. So i will probably do more of that. Also a lot of steps are self explanitory so it is needless for me to comment on them every video. Only annoying thing is it picks up on my breathing really well too lol. Especially when I have the respirator on. I think such an old hand forged knife deserved a restoration. Too bad i couldn't find anything about the maker.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed. Unfortunately the roo had to get put down. He got sick and stopped eating, he had been going down hill for a long time though. He was getting pretty old. There are other roos in the street but none as relaxed as that one. You could get within a few meters of him. Mum has a photo of one of the cats as a kitten touching its tail. Good old skippy didn't mind.
She only pokes her head in for a couple minutes to check out whats going on and say hi. Then goes away and does whatever. Anf she hates the power tools so no worries there.
