I just want to give you an IMMENSE thank you for making this video, along with any future tutorials on how to go about doing a fandub. Since, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there will be a dub anytime soon, I'd love to organize one for Digimon: Ghost Game! I know it's a very long and stressful process, but I'm still willing to try! So, again, thanks for the video and any upcoming tutorials on making a fandub!
So there have been issues in the past with anime studios and dubbing companies flagging and pulling my video so that one never got released. But I am going to do a new version soon that should be able to be viewed. It’s frustrating I know but don’t worry, you’re not crazy. Lol
seems like it was a brief overview none the less it was a welcomed one, I must say it seems a little bit more simple to do than I thought. I wonder if a program would allow us to instead of hunting down the sound effects and such, you can instead remove the voice over instead.
ABSOLUTLY NOT! Removing the vocals is WAY less legal and the programs that allow you to do similar things crap up all the rest of the audio. If you want to do voice over and video editing on any level, you are going to need really good skills in audio editing. So it is better for you to build those skills to help you out in the long run. Also I think that is the first time any one has referred to one of my over 30 minute videos as brief in any way. LOL
Well that’s more of an abridge but the short answer is it got delayed due to voice over issues. Most of the VO is finished but some parts are needing to be recast or rerecorded.
@@FunnyGuyTimmy no, I use my regular phone number. I live in puerto rico and sometimes we tend to get these sort of issues with US based companies. Even if we are still in the same territory sometimes they just forget we exist. Anyway, I have been in communication with Customer service and hopefully get it resolved. In the mean time I will just continue to market myself in other plattforms like X and UA-cam.
you actually dont need to start from scratch at all for instance you own a bluray set from a anime you got and got a legal copy of it on your PC as lets call it backup if the copy of the bluray you made is DT 5.1 and the file got 6 Audio Channels you got then easy access to the 6 Channels and mute just the vocal one acordingly and dub over it @@FunnyGuyTimmy
@@VicStormloft I don’t know how many animes would be published that way and how many are actually put on BlueRay vs just streaming, but yeah that would work. Again, assuming it’s from a studio that would have it that way. I would have to look into that.
@@FunnyGuyTimmy all good just a heads up OP:RED for instance is working like a champ this way I dug a little deeper already in that regard and if the streaming service is serving DT 5.1 you can load that easily I heard Crunchy don’t serve DT 5.1 Amazon also serves DT 5.1 and there is a awesome tool I shall not name that covers most streaming services where you can load DT 5.1 version of Animes and movies when the services serving that most only serving stereo then it’s correct you need to do it manually
Before I even watch, woooo boy I've been waiting for this!
Awesome! Really insightful stuff man. Always been curious as to how people do these dubs. Thanks for the video!
For fandubers to recommend I'd say "still thinking films" are a really good group especially their final fantasy before crisis dub.

Thank you for sharing. Such hardworks :)
Love your video. I'm not sure if you would be willing to do a 2024 variant... :D

Where's the Mario brothers dub?

i wanted to ask how you remove just the audio part while keeping the music and all
You don’t. You have to remove ALL the audio and start from scratch.
