💦Excess water runoff can cause flooding and costly damage to your foundation and landscape. By incorporating the Flo-Well® Dry Well into a comprehensive yard drainage system, excess runoff can be removed, allowing excess water to percolate into the ground or be conveyed to a designated downstream release point.
💦 The Flo-Well Dry Well is a lightweight yard drainage system that consists of 3 interlocking side panels and 1 cover. The gravel-free dry well holds up to 50 gallons and can temporarily store and slowly release water runoff back into the ground through the open bottom and side knockout weep holes. It can also connect to 4 in. drain pipes from any of the 12 side-panel knockout points to convey water for proper release downstream. The Flo-Well Dry Well System can be installed by itself or as part of a larger integrated yard drainage system. For more information about this or other NDS drainage solutions please visit our website: www.ndspro.com/
►Mark underground utility lines for safety to prevent accidental damage during excavation, ensuring a smooth installation process.
► Gather required materials and tools, including Flo-Well Dry Well, Filter Fabric, Surface Drain Inlet with Grate, EZ Flow pipeless bundle, Tuff Track Paver, Universal Locking Outlet, and necessary digging and assembly tools.
► Dig a hole 3 ft. 2 in. deep and 4 ft. wide, ensuring ample space for the installation of the drainage system components.
► Create a trench sloping 1% towards the Flo-Well to facilitate proper drainage, preventing water accumulation and ensuring efficient water flow.
► Assemble the Flo-Well, attach the Surface Drain Inlet, and prepare the base with a 24-inch Tuff Track Paver before backfilling with soil or EZ Flow, ensuring stability and proper function of the drainage system.

is that wrap-around pipe that was used instead of gravel connected to any of the outlets below?

My Flo-Well side panel has no obvious way to connect an NDS universal locking outlet. The knockout/cutout is sized for a 4” pipe.

i need this for water softener with salty water waste. dont want the grass and plants to die. this should work. if i just dug a pit with rocks in it the rain would over flow it. probably. i guess. ill give it a try.

If I’m just wrapping the flo well with the ez flo and not directly connecting it to the flo well, how many drain holes do you recommend punching out?

55 gallon barrel for $10.00 or flow well I’m still trying to decide

    • @vontrap6942

Not sure where you are looking but you can't buy a 55 gallon drum for anywhere near $10! A plastic bucket from lowes is $5!! Also with this drywell the sides are a lot stronger than any plastic drums so it won't cave in. Do your homework and stop smoking your socks.

    • @jeffreykarl2865

Yeah I used plastic 55 gallon barrel, drilled my holes as needed and it doesn't come in 4 pieces25 bucks

This looks interesting but I am strongly concerned about cave-in over time. How much structural load / weight is this FloWell rated for? It seems like the plastic could get brittle with time eventually until one day it collapses when someone is walking (or riding a mower) over it.

Common sense garbage will be here forever. It's not decaying. You have to use a brick and a hammer just to punch out holes

    • @Dooblecaine
      @Dooblecaine Місяць тому

@@jasonhilton-ft3iz But do you work for NDS ?
Everything decays. Esp in the ground with a substantial water source.
I suspect there could be an issue over time though as sheer force where the cover meets the top of the side will be substantial when say a person on a riding mower moves over it. That coupled with the product's aging over time could spell disaster, which is my concern. Plastics tend to get brittle over time too...

French drain is much more effective and much cheaper. Even with a sump system (if needed)....If your yard has a lot of clay, then a dry well is not a way to go because the water will take too long to be absorbed with a dry well system...Right now that EZ flow is ridiculously expensive compared to 4" corrugated and perforated pipe. Watch the "Apple Drains" videos they explain much better...

Already displeased with this product and it isn't even in the ground yet. Attempted to remove knockout as described in video and the side wall of the flo well broke out, not the knockout. There is no outline for the Universal Locking outlet so it does not just twist in place as described. This is causing delays in completion which cost even more money. This is not leading to ANY trust in NDS products.

    • @burts6896

Using a hammer caused damage for me as well. Now, I treat the grooves as guides for where to cut.

  • @Doomzdayxx

I don't understand why this costs so much. Any thick walled plastic container with weep holes and a large hole for drainage pipe entry would do the same job. Rip off.

This is all wrong, you put a good couple of feet of gravel underneath the dry well. Also surround it with gravel only. Don't both with the easy flow, it's just an expensive gimmick.
