It's great. Did yo uh shoot the intro and b roll yourself? Its one of the highest quality military recruiting videos I've ever watches. It belongs on a t.v. mini series
This particular series is all from US Army LA BN. I shot most of the other series called “Your Future Starts Here” all from fort Jackson. I see the way this is presented as amazing
Do you happen to have CW2 Mowery's contact information? i am currently working on my packet and would love to pick his brain being prior enlisted. I know you have to get with him to make sure he is comfortable with it and it would be greatly appreciated!
Do they still do the swimming tests in flight schools ? And how long does it take for one to become a pilot more so on a chinook or blackhawk ?
A trick : watch series at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
Chief's uniform looks like something you see on a stolen valor video😂
I’m fucking jealous of this guys career, like holy shit, most decked out ocps I’ve seen so far
Haha that’s funny
Why did you became Army Pilot?
The WiFi was better there.
Lol
Damnnnn, he’s a very decorated soldier
Marcel Bukuru go infantry, have a good attitude, and strive to be the best and anyone can look like that
Marcel Bukuru dude you gotta check out Michael Rutledge. That’s a decorated pilot
Chris Rodriguez, wow from navy seal to army aviator 😶
Chris Rodriguez Jonny Kim is even crazier
I played soccer in high school with Nick. I think we even got in a fight on the bus back in elementary school haha. Glad to see he's still doing well! Makes sense that he went Army. I chose a different route (Navy). Great video btw!
Haha Kevin! Good to see ya man.
Who won that fight? lol
@@leatherface1136 Wasn't really a win or lose. Just a punch or two to the face each and then a suspension from riding the bus.
@@PigeonMan5000 love how u remembered that so vividly lol
“Expert infantry badge, pathfinder, air assault, Ranger school, anti terrorism level 5 andddddd sniper school!” Dang anything you can’t do?
He has a recruiter badge as well!
Still a dirty nasty leg ;)
@@TheNeumeister92 lol I didn't even notice he's a leg... How disgusting!
@@TheNeumeister92 airborne soldiers will see you win the medal of honor twice, save a school bus from drowning, and cure cancer and be like "yeah but he's still a leg doe"
Never heard of anti terrorism level 5 can anybody explain it to me?
He looks young asf for a cwo 2
meet a 19 yr cw1 He joined army and did high school to flight school. Noooo experience with acft before. He had a letter from a Governor and off to the army he went. You need 3-5 letters of recommendations. He then went thru basic then off to fort Rucker for WOC, sere school and flight school
In the Vietnam era we had Warrant Officer Aviators that were as young as 19-20 YO. Average age was prolly around 24. Promotion from WOI to CW2 was 12 months so we had a lot of very young CW2s.
I went through WOCS with an 18 year old. Both he and I are CW2's now. Hes 20 and I'm 27. Pilots are usually younger than tech warrants
@@mahaffer71 If i wanna be a pilot i need letters?
@@thegreatdogzilla5855 dang this is an old comment. back in 2010 may have change. For the army if you want to go from high school to flight school is only for Warrant officers. You will need letters of recommendation. This may have change since then. Go talk to a recruiter DONT SIGN ANYTHING!!!!!! Or you could go to officer school and be a pilot. Just know that once you get to captain and above you fly less and less. As WO pilot your job is just flying. Till CW5
It is awesome to see a guy come from Infantry to be a UH-60 Helicopter pilot. I know of only one that did that from my Airborne Infantry company in Panama many years ago.
I was in the 82nd Airborne Divison during the invasion of Panama "Operation Just Cause"
When I was on my first assignment in a Ranger detachment, two f16 pilots came and gave us a close air support class. Turns out one of the pilots was previously assigned to the unit I was in and was a heavily decorated NCO before he left. Motivating af
Yoooooo I went to Baghdad with Mowery before he went to flight school! Big reason I decided to go flight too! Great guy and can’t wait to see him when I head to Cali in September!
Good to hear from you!
I actually just got accepted into the WOFT program. Prior enlisted in the Navy for 10 years.
I got accepted in the september board. Couldnt be happier man. Im ready to ship NOW lol
Have fun! I got picked up after 7 years in the Air Force..just finished WOBC, waiting on SERE school!
How was it? Are you able to pick fixed wing?
Do you have any advice for someone in the "highschool to flight school" program
Dudes a pilot in my unit now. I'm gonna ask him to sign my facemask 🤣
Stop by 😉
“What’s the risk assessment”
“Don’t worry about it”
Wadiyatalkinabeet mate?
We always do risk assessments prior to any flight 😉
Well weren't you fucking hardcore. The vast majority certainly did not get the opportunities you seemed to have had. Soldier on.
It looks like he is wearing Arid Multicam. Is that pattern being issued? It looks good and seems very functional in desert environments.
Todd Brady those are flight uniforms
marley mar What’s the camo pattern? Everyone in the video is wearing Scorpion or standard Multicam except for the subject of the interview. There is no green in his uniform except on his rank tab and name tapes, so it’s not Scorpion or standard Multicam. It looks like Multicam Arid to me.
Todd Brady just worn out multicam. Those uniforms lose color more quickly.
Christian Aracena thank you!
Either a video effect or worn out
Like Michael Durant from that nightmare in Somalia ... That guy is Ranger qualified and he's able to deal with the anti-torque sea saw rotor pedals of that air craft. He's got way stronger and tougher knees and legs than I do; that's impressive !
I leave October 29th for basic training 11x thank you for all the inspiration Archie
I was just talking about switching over and becoming a pilot and ironically this video popped up
Ironic? Or are they just listening!!!
15Tango here ! Shipping out October 7th
It’s amazing! I was in 2916th Medivac when we contracted the Budweiser seal you got there. We also built that deck in the back. I was flight ops. 2011-2013
Do you have any information or email on the validation for the use of the seal?
Also the deck is barely hanging in there 😆. You guys did build a sweet deck.
Good move. Don't matter if you are passed over for promotion. Happens to thousands. You are going to be able to retire if you make it to CW2. You are not rated based on your flight skills. You are rated by the execution of your additional duties, like any Army Aviation Officer. Your commander can make or break you. What you do directly reflects on him. He is rated upon passing all inspections. He does not pass inspections if you are not doing your additional duties. Can't overemphasize this concept. Just do your assigned duties as best you can. If you are having problems, the first SGT or commander can help you get the help they need. I said THEY need because they need to pass all inspections to get a good rating. Good Luck in your army Aviation career.
Crazy, didn't imagine that was possible
Comer crew chief and the best pilots are former enlisted by far. Back when I was in We had the youngest warrant officer to graduate from walk he was 18years and 4 months when he got his WO1 Guy Gribble was his name he did his time got out and was going to get into flying jets. We also had a air force pilot that had three different ratings in the air force and he left that to go to helicopter flight school so he could learn to fly these. He was a FFA instructor for twin engine and instrument flight. I believe he first started flying C130. Loved army aviation we had a great group of guys most what Vietnam area pilots so it was a while ago but I still have found memories of that time of my life.
Hi,
I will get my bachelor’s in business and am interested in commissioning through OCS to become a pilot. Any tips?
I am 29
Whats up man! Love your videos. Haven't met many warrant officers in my recently commissioned Army life, but the guy you interviewed is really well spoken. Looking forward to more of these videos!
There wasn't very many things Chief couldn't do, ask him how he did at the Shooting Compettion where he represented NTC with the rest of the NTC Team.
AWESOME! HELICOPTER! 🎥🎥🎥🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This guy is a true professional. Much respect.
Hey man, I really want to have an aviation spot in the military. I know everything about aviation and such but I really don’t have money for college. Can you give me some tips on how to get involved with Warrent officer school. It’s really my dream job and I’m for sure going to pursue the rest to get my PPL. Just graduated this year and am looking for some good tips for every branch for aviation. Thanks
You don’t need a college degree to become a flight warrant officer. Army does have a program called high school to flight school. www.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/current-and-prior-service/advance-your-career/warrant-officer/flight-warrant-officers.html
Man, that’s my boy Mowery!!!...beast!!!.
as and old Huey Crew chief always fly safe
Currently all non-essential Army Aviators are grounded due to a safety standoff. I believe 6:15 has something to do with that. Aviators are over tasked with administrative duties, while maintaining the minimum annual currency. I understand officers need to have additional duties outside of being an aviator, but they should not be superfluous. Thank you for your service and fly safe!
Thanks for the insight!! Going to WOFT as a SSG in June. Wish me luck!
Great video! I am currently also in flight school, and next year March we're heading to US to become UH-60M pilots. Excited! But yes the ground school is tough.
Grip line over civilians houses trying to threaten and intimidate look a little young girls back swimming pools in their own private yard running around wasting taxpayer civilians money go get a real job Punk
odds of dying in a whirly bird is greater than that of an infantry man.
Did he say Loma Linda?
Thank you sergeant for another great content. This footage is hard to get! I am a current 68 W, do you know how should I get information about submitting the flight medic package?
Are you Active, Reserve, or Guard? What's your rank and ETS? That's important stuff troop.
Can you do a day in the life with someone in the 160th? Night Stalkers Dont Quit!! I'd love to see the day to day and gear from the gods of the sky
Here you go
ua-cam.com/video/2TOmDADh6U0/v-deo.html
Matt Karau that vide navy seal he ask about a night stalkers
Doubt that would happen... they have an SF unit down in LA about a mile from me but you mostly see them training and rarely outside of their classes
Says he's a M model dude but the vid is all A/L
2Many_Hobbies literally was just saying that to one of my NCOs
I graduated mikes in flight school.
I’m looking forward for 160th SOAR
He has to be the coolest dude in the army. Personality is on point
all of those helicopters were alpha/lima models not mike i guess he could be dual rated and stuck in a A/L company
You are correct 👍
I'd say this footage probably came from NTC, Yuma proving grounds, or fort huachuca.
Ntc
When he said Loma Linda (hospital) Medical Center or Vegas, I knew he was at NTC, Fort Irwin.
Definitely looks like NTC lol
Served with him at Fort Polk
Heck ya!
Very nice personality
No airborne wings?
This right here. The kind of soldier that becomes an outstanding leader. Almost disappointed he didn’t go traditional officer route!
My man Nick. Good to see you're doing well bro. Knew bravo company wouldn't keep you stuck at rucker for long. Fly safe!
Good to hear from you! Stay safe!
I would love to do something like this
Bro I didn’t know Cristiano Ronaldo became a pilot!!
😃😆😂🤗
That was def at NTC LOL
Lol
Germz Wita J Great land of Donovia lol
Was there this past February hated it
I spent 7 total years there.
AyL33on i was there from ‘92-95 and then again from ‘99-01. Beginning of my career. Then 14 total years at Ft Bliss. With all the Middle East deployments, I spent a lot of time in deserts! Ironically I grew up in SoCal riding dirt bikes.....in the desert!
Good ole Fort Irwin
They have a splash park
Tips for studying at work? Newborn gives me no time at home and I always hated studying at the squadron lol.
👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Very impressive!
SALUTE young man..🙏🏿
That's what I wanted to do back in the 1980's when I enlisted but I got bad advice from people including the recruiters...Now days I can imagine that's it would be a lot easier to apply for WOFT. It was a lot harder getting promoted as an 11C back in the early 1980's than it is these days I'm sure...At least I'm glad to see that a fellow Mortar man got to go fly for our country...
Can't wait to go WOFT
People didn't know that the army could fly helicopters made for the army?
I am also prior service, had all kinds of titles since I got out of my first enlistment in the army. Ironworker/welder wrote and released some songs and shit but I've missed it and I also would like to fly for the army. Awesome video man I'll rock some merch or something drop me a link 🔗
Badiya gotayasisna leka
He used to be in 4th brigade 2/506 at fort campbell I think
indeed I was, “CURRAHEE STANDS ALONE” !
@@N14-z6o good to see you doing great things brother
Is it possible for an older recruit 36 years old, with a college degree, to join and become a 🚁 pilot in the army?
Thank you for your service!
Dustoff!
Much Respect! Dude has a good head of his shoulders
What is different between
Warrant officer & officer?
GT SCORES matter. DEGREES MATTER! ASVAB Scores matter. POLITICS matter..unfortunately Opportunities are found at certain duty stations. Overall The Army has been a great experience. Just dont get thrown in the orderly/ training room or become a barracks manager. The more volunteering for training the more you will be expected with. The culture is combat the vultures are support. If you're not in a combat related MOS... Good luck being respected. Long hours.
#truthbetold
Mr. Garcia unless your in a chemical unit that doesnt deploy then its like purgatory
Or a INT
Can a 37 year old be a pilot?
Army (and the military) have been experiencing a shortage of pilots, yet they don't want to invest in the money to train service members to become one.
Roger tell me about it, I am trying to become one and the whole process is a nightmare
Hi please do a video for pharmacy technician. Would love to know how life in there looks like. Thanks
Great video! May I ask a question for my son...... how long does it take to go from Basic training to the completion of advanced flight training..... doing the high school to flight school path..... ball park estimate would be great.... I really appreciate this info.. also, what is the path, say basic training then to where? thanks!
I was in tradoc for two and a half years. Took me 2 years from starting my packet to shipping. Right now it's about one and a half years of training. Six months for the packet. My advice is to take it one step at a time; it's a long process.
God damn son what haven’t you done or can’t do. Talk about dedication. Your a credit to your generation. So many of your gen. Cannot say the same for themselves.
Good on you.
Morning
morning as well
Do you have to be enlisted first to become a warrant officer?
no, you can apply to be a warrant officer right off the bat. you have to complete a warrant officer application packet and then be accepted
Can someone explain to me what “anti terrorism level 5” is
Ram idk bro I’ve only done AT LVL 2😂
Wish I had a chance at this. Unfortunately I’m red/green colorblind.
Matt R. seems like the people who want it most have some disqualification. sorry to hear that you can’t pursue this Matt
Really sorry to hear that bro hopefully in our next life we will be pilots
I KNOW THAT GUY!!!!!!!!!
Chief ?
ARCHIEzzle Yeah the guy you interviewed. I don’t know if you’re stationed at fort Irwin or not but if you see him again anytime soon tell him Mason said what up
Mason what’s up!
Eastbay here!!!
With these first few videos you would think that Archie likes aviation?
I know right ?
Family
Hey what’s that patch on top of his name?
Company patch

What camo is that?
multicam flight suit
OCP (operational camo pattern)
Hey if you know any 15r can you make a video with them because that’s the mos I’m most likely going to go to
Ethan Mcquiston Why do you want to be a runner up dude.
