7.36b Patch Analysis
My hero guides are mainly for people learning how to play Dota or for those who want to learn how to play a new hero. I aim to teach people the general concept of how the hero should be played and what makes it unique. I'm a Divine player around 5k and don't claim to be the best at Dota, but I do have enough knowledge and experience to help you learn the basics.

didn't even notice it was new patch until after my two ranked games, thought the sand king changes were a bug lol
Crimson guard damage block was previously 50% strength, not 2.5%. So 1 strength used to give you 0.5 block, it now gives 0.55 (since it gives you 22HP) and then you get to add your base health and bonus on top. So I think it's pretty much a buff across the board even for strength heroes.
Had to edit this heavily because I read the old wiki, oops.
The way it was worded it sounded like it was 2.5% strength and now it's 2.5% HP. That sounded kind of insane to me lol
Thank God that Sand King cancer is dead. He was never intended to be played that way. People will probably start picking the other facet now. Stinger barely got touched so that’s still broken, and the AOE on the invis sandstorm is pretty crazy now.

They gutted manta zeus. Lightning Hands No longer applied by Illusions. :D
There are always ways to craft a suitable right-click carry Zeus. I don't even need the Manta. :) But you could definitely opt for the Yasha and Kaya mostly now.
Good riddance, some heroes should not be right clickers.
@@DocwellHe’s definitely gonna need another buff before he’s relevant again though. The slight buffs to spellcaster zeus won’t be nearly enough. Manta was easily a +200GPM item.

The Nerf SF needed was slow scales with razes i think :S

Happy Valve had the balls to take an axe (pun intended lol) to these broken heroes. Haven’t had nerfs this severe in a long time but it was absolutely needed.
I don’t know what their mentality behind buffing tinker’s cooldowns was. None of those matter past lvl 6. The lvl 4 March cooldown could be 600 seconds and it wouldn’t matter lmao.
It's literally just laning stage stuff I guess, but yeah, the cooldowns are very weird since it doesn't really do much.
They remove great cleave strength bonus, that’s why they keep buffing sven
I think overall he still does more damage though but I haven’t done the math. Strength is obviously good for health and regen but still the hero is mostly about bursting.

Pretty much every character I (a new player) like to play got nerfed😞. Time to git gud I guess!

@@Maggotbone No, there were like 4 or 5 of you I just deleted all your inane comments. It shouldn't be hard to grasp that I'm trying to hit the important parts and not waste time making a 5 hour video talking for 10 minutes about .5 mana regen reduction for Ench or .1 stat changes for Tide lol.
